Mary awaits her phantom lover to come to her on St. Agnes' Eve, an old, mostly-forgotten Catholic holiday when young girls would be visited in the night by the spirit of a "phantom lover". Suddenly she feels beautiful eyes roving over her, and a whisper in her ear. "My little angel..."
A prequel to the darkly comedic Malice in Wonderland trilogy. A peek inside the minds of Alice and the other characters of Wonderland before she killed them. This volume follows Alice from the age of 7, where Lewis Carroll left off telling her story, to the age of 12. It doesn't detail everything that happened during that time, because frankly that would be boring, since mostly Alice served as a doormat to the citizens of Wonderland. (Don't worry, though, she gets her revenge when she turns 13.) Instead, the book hops around between certain key points in Alice's and the other characters histories, with each event linked to the next, not necessarily in chronological order. This book precedes Malice in Wonderland #1: Alice the Assassin. Here's its blurb: Alice will get her heart back even if she has to kill everyone in Wonderland one by one...The truth is not what you were led to believe. Alice never left Wonderland. It wasn't all "just a dream."It's a nightmare. A nightmare she can't escape, where formerly pleasant characters throw her unhappy unbirthday parties to torment her, while others like to make her cry so they can lick her tears. But one day after years of this unpleasantness, she loses her heart. Literally. Well, technically someone steals it.And she has to get it back. By any means necessary. And it's a lot easier to be ruthless now that she's heartless.
You've been misled. Lewis Carroll didn't reveal the whole story... Alice never left Wonderland. She's trapped. She's angry. And she wants revenge. If you're a fan of twisted fairy tales, you'll love this dementedly funny series, brought to you by the author of Dorothy vs. Alice. The truth is not what you were led to believe. It wasn't all "just a dream." It's a nightmare. A nightmare she can't escape, where formerly pleasant characters throw her unhappy unbirthday parties to torment her, while others like to make her cry so they can lick her tears. But one day after years of this unpleasantness, she loses her heart. Literally. Well, technically somebody steals it. And she has to get it back. By any means necessary. And it's a lot easier to be ruthless now that she's heartless. Alice is fed up with all the losers of Wonderland, from the sadistic Queen of Hearts to the goofy Mad Hatter to the bloodthirsty Cheshire Cat. And she's tired of being so sweet and innocent, with all her dimples. She used to be a preteen, but today is her 13th birthday, and she'll be singing "unhappy birthday" loudly as she delivers violent justice! Yeah, she used to be so sweet you could die. Well, now they all shall die...literally. It may be 1865, but Alice is about to go medieval. She will have her heart returned to her even if she has to kill all the citizens of Wonderland one by one...
The faebots are working hard to revive Cabby's high school nemesis, Mackenzie, by downloading her data into the new faebot leader, who they're calling the "Mackenzie Aspirant." That's because she wants to become Mackenzie, just so she can ruin Cabby's life.Cabby and Darren struggle to find out where the data is being stored, so they can erase it before the faebots get to it. Because the last thing Cabby wants is all the drama that girl would bring into her life. She'd rather focus on her relationship with Darren, and, meanwhile, Darren would like to focus on Cabby, because he yearns to give her a ring to show how much she means to him. But rings are hard to come by in the world they find themselves in.
My little dominatrix . . .Dust can be such a bitch sometimes. Well, not just sometimes. All the time, but she wants to change. She has to if she ever wants to get back together with Machoponi. But other ponies and the Princess really try her patience sometimes. For one thing, the Dark Princess has decided to go preppy! Seriously, with the sweater tied around her neck and everything. She should be punished. For another thing, Brogene is annoying, as usual. So of course, the Princess sends her on a quest for caulk. But the quest turns into a sexual journey when the Sexual Awakening occurs, in which the repressed sexuality of all the creatures of Poniworld gets unrepressed.Dust starts exploring things, things like pleasure, pain, and punishment. Lots of punishment. But she has her pink Thong of Protection to protect her. (Though at one point she has to have it talked off her.) And she also learns to wield a magical riding crop she gets from a female Nazi she meets. She also meets Strawberry Spit-take, a girl with a spit-take fetish, a rhino in a tutu named Tipsy Gorer who wants to ban cock rock, Ms. Cap-Man, black-and-blueberries and Gardens of Pain!Poniworld is going through changes, and Dust is going through sexual exploration. This book is not for children, but it is not X-rated. More like PG-13. This ain't your grandma's erotic book about ponies!
Malice has to save her friends from the fairy tale parasites infesting their souls. They have each been combined with the fairy tale that bit them. This has caused them to become hybrids-the Mad Hatter, for instance, is now half Cinderella. To drive the fairy tale portion out, Malice has to drive a stake through their hearts. So, ironically, to save them, Malice essentially has to fight and kill her friends-the Mad Hatter, Tweedle twins, Humpty and the Knight. Hopefully, afterwards, Wonderland will finally get back to how it was before the twisted fairy tales came around.
Either love her or die. . . Alice has regained her heart and it's thumping in her chest. But she must not kill again, for with each additional murder, her heart grows blacker, her thoughts, once sweet and innocent, grow more vengeful and cruel, and her tears, once magical, grow more poisonous. She wants to set things right and reincarnate Humpty Dumpty and the Caterpillar and the Tweedle twins. But she seems to have a bad habit of killing that she can't seem to break. She doesn't want to kill them all over again, but sometimes these Wonderland idiots are really asking for it, don't you think? By the author of The Poniworld Chronicles and SinEaster.

Queen Malice and her team set off toward Jabberwock Valley, where they hope to find a new body for their friend and teammate, the woefully decapitated Jabberwock. Their journey will no doubt be fraught with peril, but Malice is more concerned with the crushing withdrawals she's going through, due to running out of black rose. She hopes she can keep it together, despite her bouts of viciousness from a malfunctioning heart. Any further breakdowns could lead to very awkward social situations. And the team is stressed enough already, what with the agonies of a dramatic love triangle, and the threat of a powerful chief who wants to capture Malice, for reasons that aren't entirely clear yet. Can they arrive at Jabberwock Valley in one piece? And without Sleepy B committing a childish mistake requiring rescue? Or without the Cheshire Cat offending any of the team with his sharp tongue? Or without Malice breaking either the Mad Hatter's or Humpty's heart? No doubt something is bound to happen. Malice just hopes she can get through the whole nerve wracking mess without having to resort to any black rose "substitutes" along the way.
