The objective of the book is essentially intended to meet the academic needs of geography students in colleges, undergraduate students and other similar tertiary institution all over the continents where geography, agriculture, environmental sciences features in the curriculum. The focus of the book is on the area of agro-climatology and how these ideas expanded through climate change effects on cowpea production in Nigeria, with a particular reference to Kaduna State. Thus, the book examines introduction and background to the study. To make the book readable, published materials and other sources of information had to be consulted which in turn added luster and weight to the book.
