Higher education is going through a time of transition, while the speed of technological advances is continually increasing worldwide, and the advances so necessary to design new conceptions of teaching and learning are not keeping pace.

The development of mathematical logical thinking is that capacity that allows understanding the relationships given in the surrounding world and makes it possible to quantify them, formalize them in order to better understand them and be able to communicate them. Consequently, this form of thinking translates into the use and management of cognitive processes such as: reasoning, demonstrating, arguing, interpreting, identifying, relating, graphing, calculating, inferring, performing algorithms and modeling in general and, like any other form of thinking development, it is susceptible to learning. In this order of ideas, in the fifth grade of the San Pedro Claver Educational Institution, there is a problem in relation to the development of mathematical logical thinking.That is why it is necessary to analyze the benefits generated by the use of multimedia didactic resources as strategies within the educational environment, all this justified by the need to promote the development of mathematical logical thinking.
