The monster of darkness had stolen the egg that was the fruit of the love between his parents and thus separated them forever and the powers of the dragons would be lost. When Ferocio finds his parents all of them recover the powers and Ferocio is never alone again.

Ferocio is a book that overflows joy, sweetness and contrasts. Its protagonist, who has a very nice name, is enjoyable and has a very open and honest personality. He lets us glimpse at his sorrows and joys and to how he finds quick solutions to his problems, just as children do in their daily lives. With Ferocio we learn that "laughing is like exploding." Each page explodes with flames of fire or with laughter of joy, with determined strokes and delicate ornaments. The varied textures add strength to the colors, and its colors are "very Latin American." It is a story of enormous simplicity, but with enormous doses of warmth and sympathy.
