This book is an exploration of the joys and advantages of embracing a solitary life, delving into the profound connection between singlehood, longevity, and happiness. As the author, my intention is not to dismiss the value of companionship but rather to celebrate the merits of solitude. Throughout these pages, we will navigate the complexities of relationships, examine statistical evidence, and explore the impact of personal choices on well-being. I draw inspiration from those who find contentment in their own company and from the growing body of research that sheds light on the benefits of a solo journey. This book invites you to contemplate the idea that staying single is not just a lifestyle choice but a pathway to a longer and happier life. I express my sincere gratitude to all those who have contributed to the creation of this book and to the readers who embark on this journey with an open mind. May these pages offer insights, challenge preconceptions, and encourage a thoughtful reflection on the beauty of living life on one's own terms.

This workbook has been designed for use in the classroom whether in traditional, homeschool or virtual (e-learning) settings. Each puzzle contains eight words that have been carefully chosen and are recommended to work with your students on.At the 1st Grade level, words can be left to right, down, or diagonal, but we do not use backwards as an option. It's too confusing for many at this level. The solutions area in the back of the book and are meant for self-checking and/or parent/teacher checking, and of course, for those times when you look and look and still can't find the word!Because some of these words are only two or three letters, it is quite possible that some words will appear more than once within a puzzle. If you are giving points for each word located, consider bonus points for finding those duplicates. Also, it's very common that puzzles contain extra words that aren't on the list. It's a great way to give students that finish quickly something else to focus on.The 1st Grade book is a much easier puzzle grid to work with. Each letter has a box around it and the puzzle itself is 8 x 8 rows. As grade levels go up, so does the number of rows, and of course the words are grade level appropriate. The back of each page is deliberately blank so the students can focus using the same layout every week without fumbling with the book. While writing words or putting words in short sentences may be an option, we recommend using lined paper instead with the appropriately sized rows. One activity you might consider is having the students draw pictures of as many of the words as they can. You're creative, right? You'll figure something great to do with the back side of the pages. The pages are not perforated by design because many teachers have students turn in the entire book and some will not pass them back out until the following Monday when you are ready to introduce new words. This discourages students from working ahead.Don't want your students to be able to view the solutions at the back of the book? A few staples or some tape to bind those pages together will fix that, although most students enjoy being able to find the words without peeking at the answers, especially at younger ages.No separate Teachers' Edition is necessary with this workbook.

This book will give you many legitimate ideas for making money over the 2012 scare, as well as a few humorous ones. Bottom line, if the world ends in 2012, well, you may actually save some lives. If it doesn't end, maybe you'll be wealthy because you took action!

This workbook has been designed for use in the classroom whether in traditional, homeschool or virtual (e-learning) settings. Each puzzle contains twenty words that have been carefully chosen and are recommended to work with your students on.At the 2nd Grade level, words can be left to right, down, or diagonal, but we do not use backwards as an option. It's too confusing for many at this level. The solutions area in the back of the book and are meant for self-checking and/or parent/teacher checking, and of course, for those times when you look and look and still can't find the word!Because some of these words are only three or four letters, it is quite possible that some words will appear more than once within a puzzle. If you are giving points for each word located, consider bonus points for finding those duplicates. Also, it's very common that puzzles contain extra words that aren't on the list. It's a great way to give students that finish quickly something else to focus on.Unfortunately, due to the randomization of the letters in each puzzle, it is possible that a "bad word" or two may exist throughout the book. At this grade level, students amazingly find them often before adults do. Obviously, you should discourage searching for those words, but don't make it an issue until it is one or they'll go out of their way to find words. The 2nd Grade book is a leap from the 1st Grade book. While the First Grade book has 8x8 rows and boxes around each letter, the 2nd Grade book 16 x 16 rows and does not have boxes around each letter. There are two reasons for this. The doubling of the rows happens because there are 20 words in each week's lesson instead of eight. The boxes are removed because students learn to be more self-sufficient if they need guidelines by using a piece of paper or a ruler, and then gradually they tend to adapt to needing nothing at all and work very well with the non-boxed letters. As grade levels go up, the number of rows will range from 16 x 16 up to 29 x 29, and of course the words are grade level appropriate and get longer. The back of each page is deliberately blank so the students can focus using the same layout every week without fumbling with the book. While writing words or putting words in short sentences may be an option, we recommend using lined paper instead with the appropriately sized rows. One unit has 20x20 rows. (Keep them busy figuring out which unit has 20x20!) Martin Stevens was one of the great North American puppeteers - creating such notable productions as "The Passion Play", "Joan of Arc", and "Taming of the Shrew". Steve, as he was affectionately called, was a frequent performer and teacher at the national festivals of the Puppeteers of America. In the 1950's he wrote a correspondence course with nineteen published lessons plus a final session written specifically for each student. Here are all the published lessons plus all the known final session. "It is a happy day that this material is once again visible and available to nudge young puppeteers to find their own way of seeing and doing shows. Bravo to "Steve."
