"Awake In Your Dream" is about dreams and encounters that cannot be coincidences. About fate and invisible threads that connect us to certain people - no matter how far apart they are. The threads continue to knot and stay forever, even if that person disappears from our lives. This book is about moments that are as fragile as butterfly wings. About strangers, who wander through our dreams. The uncertainty, if we will ever meet them there. But we feel their presence after waking up - like a breath of wind on our skin. And they leave their marks. There's a legend that says: if you cannot sleep, you are awake in someone else's dream. Someone wandered through my dreams and I immortalized them in this book. These feelings are perpetuated between the lines. "Awake In Your Dream" is collection of thoughts, poems, poetic texts and dialogues, combined with black-white photographs and illustrations. It's a book about darkness, longing, nightmares and daydreams. I describe my fascination for the night - for dark and broken things. The book includes mainly English and only a few German poems. (The German-speaking share is about 20 percent.) Please note that some excerpts may contain mature content.
