Diamonds, gold, and a decades-old smuggling operation running through the Boundary Waters of Northern Minnesota. Everything runs perfectly until the operators agree to a new and far more dangerous and top-secret shipment. Paul Westover, a reporter for the Associated Press, accidentally stumbles upon the operation while researching wild wolf populations for an upcoming article.
