The Poetic Stylings of Myael Simpkins, is the first of a series of poetry books designed to capture the emotions of it's readers. It contains more than fifty poems that are placed systematically in sections that represent specific emotions. With sections like "Antagonized" and "Optimistic" the reader can go to a section that they can personally relate to. Once a person begins reading, they are able to share the emotions of the author. Each section begins with a section title and photograph. The title gives the emotion and photography displays a visual of what is being expressed.
