Parmi les sujets abordés figurent le modèle de santé au Chili, le rôle de l'ergothérapeute dans l'unité de soins intensifs et les preuves scientifiques disponibles à ce jour.
The presence of Occupational Therapists in Critical Patient Units increased significantly during the COVID-19 pandemic, making visible the importance of the professional in the early rehabilitation of people in different health conditions who are hospitalized in the CPU. Thus, among the topics addressed are the health model in Chile, the role of the OT in the PCU and the scientific evidence available to date.

Tra i temi affrontati vi sono il modello sanitario in Cile, il ruolo dell'OT nelle PCU e le evidenze scientifiche disponibili ad oggi.
Die Anwesenheit von Ergotherapeuten in Intensivstationen hat während der COVID-19-Pandemie erheblich zugenommen, was die Bedeutung der Fachkräfte für die frühe Rehabilitation von Menschen mit unterschiedlichen Gesundheitszuständen, die in der CPU stationär behandelt werden, deutlich macht. Zu den behandelten Themen gehören das Gesundheitsmodell in Chile, die Rolle der Ergotherapeuten auf der Intensivstation und die bisher vorliegenden wissenschaftlichen Erkenntnisse.
La presencia de los Terapeutas Ocupacionales en las Unidades de Paciente Crítico aumentó de forma significativa durante la pandemia del COVID-19, permitiendo visibilizar la importancia del profesional en la rehabilitación precoz de las personas en distintas condiciones de salud que se encuentran hospitalizados en la UPC. De esta forma entre los temas que se abordan es el Modelo de salud en Chile, el rol del TO en la UPC y la evidencia científica que hay a la fecha.
Occupational Therapy is one of the professions that works with both healthy and cognitively and functionally impaired elderly people in the different areas of occupational performance. For this reason, the type of relationship and the differences between cognitive level and functionality in instrumental activities of daily living are presented in two groups of elderly people, those who participate in a formal group and those who do not participate in a formal group in the region of Valparaiso, Chile. A considerable difference was observed in the cognitive and functional level in the IADLs, where it was observed that the group that participated in the formal group had a better cognitive and functional performance.
Evidence-based medicine (EBM) is the explicit and judicious use of the most efficient evidence in making decisions about the care of individual patients. EBM does not work on the basis of intuition, it says that through clinical experience and pathophysiology concrete clinical decisions can be made, emphasizing the value of clinical examinations and scientific evidence provided for clinical research. In pathologies such as Parkinson's disease, where not only the occupational performance of the person is affected, but also his or her immediate environment. Offering treatment to people and their families, with the greatest possible certainty and efficacy, is fundamental and the MBE is the one who facilitates it.
With the advancement of technology, more and more techniques, tools and/or processes have been developed to improve the methods of application to be effectively incorporated into health systems. In this way, bringing closer the rehabilitation in rare pathologies such as Polymyositis.
Occupational routine is one of the fundamental concepts that frame the optimal performance of a person in all situations and contexts. Among the conditioning factors that can affect occupational performance and routine are the health situations that afflict people and their social environment. Among them is Fibromyalgia, an underdiagnosed pathology that can have a significant impact on people's quality of life. That is why knowing the alternative treatments and their impact is of significant importance.
