" The Green Zybari stories" is a graphic novel that also takes a form of an illustrated "diary" authored by 12 year old Niusha who lives in a " Russian town in the middle of California". All three stories in the book, narrated by Niusha, may fit into the definition of "Tall Tales'"...Do the events that Niusha describes really happen? or does she make them up? we'll never know for sure. Her days spin around meeting "zybari", creatures from the local folklore whom Niusha is able to see and communicate with. They bring both horror and bliss into her life.
