From the Puff Bear and Friends Dream Book Series. With the help of his friends, this storybook tells how Finney Frog comes to be his school's best all-around lily pad jumper. ABOUT THE AUTHOR Pamela Charlene Walden is a retired registered nurse, who, from the age of eight years old, dreamt of becoming an author to write the books she loved to read. Using both skill sets, her passion of writing and her profession of nursing, she is now creating those stories. She encourages all children to Dream, Hope, and Believe.
This is a story about a little bear that has an asthma attack and must be taken to the hospital emergency room for treatment. Puff Bear is playing outside in the snow-covered valley with his older brother and sister, BJ and Chloe', when he begins to have an asthma attack. Mother Bear must call his doctor and is directed to take him to the hospital ER right away. They meet Dr. Fox and Nurse Nanny who help Puff Bear get the treatment he needs to help him feel better. In addition to the entertaining story, located in the back of the book there is educational information provided to help in obtaining a greater understanding of this chronic condition. You will learn what may trigger an asthma attack, see a glossary of asthma terms; obtain facts from the Centers of Disease Control and Prevention with statistical data from the Asthma and Allergy Foundation of America; find an example of an asthma action plan and a reference for other asthma resources.
GOD DOESN'T COUNT, HE COVERS When we make mistakes, we think God doesn't love us or that He stops loving us. We believe He becomes angry and will surely punish us for all those mistakes. On the contrary: God loves us. He doesn't count our mistakes: He covers us by the blood of His son Jesus Christ (No greater love than this that He gave His only begotten son). Are you a hidden strawberry? How do you see yourself? How do you think God sees you? Are you counting the number of times you made a mistake? Can you ever forgive those who hurt you? Can you stop the pain? Pamela Charlene Walden shares some of her life's journey to help answer these questions and more. You will learn how faithful and loving God really is. You will see how God's love, mercy and grace are sufficient to complete your own life's journey. You too can become a "Good (ripe) Fruit" sharing your life to help others come out of their hiding. "Healed People Help Heal Others"
