It's worth noting that, since it was set up, this workshop has been equipped with a range of machines and equipment capable of carrying out various mechanical manufacturing operations, such as plastic forming, machining and welding.Our studies have added value by implementing an administrative and technical reorganization of this workshop, with the introduction of various monitoring and control sheets for execution, quality and even agents.Maximizing productivity time, a sound marketing policy and regular upgrading of staff will be optimal solutions to make this workshop a hub of the boilermaking industry in Mbujimayi.

To supply the town of Mbujimayi with drinking water, REGIDESO has organized its distribution network into three pressure zones: the low-pressure zone, the medium-pressure zone and the high-pressure zone. Each zone has its own topographical characteristics: the low-pressure zone is supplied by gravity, while the other 2 zones necessarily require electrical energy to power the motor-driven pumps used to convey the fluids. This gives rise to the need for shock wave protection in the event of load shedding, to protect electromechanical equipment, accessories, buildings, etc. Two methods are used to size protection tanks, one analytical and the other graphical. First, we'll use the concepts developed by Evans and Crawfort to read the abacuses, then we'll compare and verify them by plotting Louis Bergeron's lines using the characteristics of each pressure zone.

On the one hand, there's a large movement of vehicles, characterized above all by goods trucks requiring frequent maintenance. On the other hand, the region's offer consists solely of the services of a small, unorganized garage, unable to satisfy customers and forcing them to look elsewhere.

The protection of a pumping station is neither necessary nor desirable, as it encompasses not only the technical aspects but also the financial impacts. As part of the planned expansion of REGIDESO's hydraulic network, pumping station 2 will be protected by two anti-sludge reservoirs with capacities of 10m³ for the medium-pressure distribution zone and 25m³ for the high-pressure distribution zone. While these tanks are a means of protection from a technical point of view, they are also a means of increasing revenue for the company, since the only product it sells is drinking water. By selling this water, the company and the people of Mbujimay are direct beneficiaries when the anti-snagging protections are in good working order. In the event of failure, we feel the impact, whether on the financial aspect, as the company has to generate income, or on the economic and technical aspect, as the company has to meet its various expenses: taxes, salaries, maintenance, supplies, etc.
