I spent a bit of time travelling around China and Vietnam and just before I was due to come home I ended up with a bout of diarrhea. I should have know something was wrong as this was not the usual bout of food poisoning. Food poisoning is usually explosive diarrhea that comes on fast then vanishes. Causes a few problems for a few days then it is back to normal. What I had was dysentery style diarrhea that was very awkward, as I had to walk around with a wad of toilet paper stuffed up my butt to catch the drops. I couldn't fart. Anyway that was all I had, no cramps, no nausea, and no pain. I felt OK, I just needed a toilet in very close proximity. I just didn't eat if I had to go out. I used to drink heaps as I needed too as I was in the tropics in summer and I had dysentery. This went on for over a week and I used to take some pills they gave me in China, but there was no change. If I had felt really terrible I would have gone to the doctor, but I didn't think there was any reason too. Anyway I broke my golden rule which is - always go to the doctor in the country you are sick in, as they would most likely know what is wrong with you. When you get back to your home country the doctors usually have absolutely no clue what is wrong with you. I got amoebic dysentery while in the sahara and I went to the doctor there and they knew exactly what was wrong with me and they gave me the correct medicine. Where as one of my friends got very sick in Russia in Leningrad, then he went home and no one knew what was wrong with him. About 2 years later I caught up with him and I told him to go to a Russian doctor. He did and the doctor knew exactly what was wrong with him and gave him the correct medicine and then he was OK. So get checked before you fly home.It Took Me Years To Work This OutIf you have terrible diarrhea that will not go away try this and see if it makes your life bearable. Crush and dice 4 large cloves of garlic, preferable organic, and leave it sit for over 20 minutes then eat it raw with 1000 to 1500mgs of Vitamin C every night just before you go to bed, so it sits in your stomach all night. This is to kill the beast.As with all things start in moderation and work up, like start with one clove of garlic and work your way up. I was eating about half a bulb at one stage. When you eat it at night by the time you go to work you do not smell so bad. DO NOT eat garlic before going to work or you will stink the office out.Also during the day sprinkle one tablespoon of tumeric on some food and eat it, this is to stop inflammation. Before you eat lunch or dinner drink a tablespoon of Apple Cider Vinegar, this is to try and get your stomach acid up as you need stomach acid to kill the beast.There are a lot of other things you can try and I recommend you try them as everybody is different and they could work better for you. Vitamin C and crushed garlic worked for me, I hope it works for you too.

My name is Peter LeGrove, and I'm here to tell you my boots on the ground experience, about what it's like to get a job teaching English in Vietnam. I did it and it isn't easy, so I'll try to make it easier for you. Now it is time to sit back and relax, to find out how easy, or how difficult it is to get a job teaching English in Vietnam. Nowadays with the internet, smart phones and Google Play, your world of travelling is a lot easier. But you have to keep up to date with the apps, as new ones are coming out all the time. Like maps.me which is run of GPS not data, so you can still find your way around, as soon as you land in Vietnam or any other country. Vietnam is a tourist Mecca, with tourists crawling all over the cities and countryside. The whole of the Hanoi old quarter is full of hostels and hotels, that cater to all levels of expense. From the cheapest hostel at $2.50 soon to be $3.50, to upwards of whatever you can afford. And the whole country is geared for the tourists, with organized tours to where ever you want to go. And dispersed amongst the tourists are the semi permanent foreign workers, mainly teachers, etching out a living in this beautiful country, with a fair bit of pollution in the main cities, but not as bad as China. It seems the whole teaching system here is, basically going from one school to another. Most teachers ride motorbikes while others take the bus. And they come and go like flies. In the main cities the competition for jobs is fairly intense, but out of the cities they are always on the lookout for teachers. And some teachers come here with hopes of getting a job, and end up in Cambodia, where it is easier to get a job. Some people come here and crash out on a beach, and just give up looking for jobs. Life in good here. It comes under "How To Live Cheap In An UnCheap World." And out of the tourist places and big cities, it is still cheap with beautiful beaches. And the joy of modernization is, you can crash out on an idyllic beach, and teach kids in China over the internet. You are not confined to the four walls of a classroom. And if you love beaches, sun, sand and a few beers after work, then this is the country to crash out in.

Since the financial crisis of 2007, jobs have been and still are extremely hard to get. The financial crisis effectively wiped out the middle class, so there are less jobs for university graduates and high school graduates, as well as everybody who is trying to get back into the work force. And to top it all off businesses are closing down in record numbers. And that means business owners and their employees are back in the workforce. So the competition for each job has just heated up. And there are less jobs being advertised. That means more people are applying for each job. All hoping beyond hope they will get the job. Now you can give yourself the edge with an online CV. When your future employer sees your CV, you have possibly less than 30 seconds to impress, or delete. You are competing against the dreaded delete button, as well as everybody else who applied. Your CV has to be more eye catching, better set up and contain what your prospective employer needs to know, just to evade the dreaded delete button. When you send in your CV you usually hear nothing back. But with an online CV tailored to match the job you are applying for, things could be very different. Your CV is the first contact between you and your prospective employer. It has been said 'first impressions mean a lot' so make your first impression memorable with a hand made online CV. Also if you have a page counter on your CV you can see how many times your CV has been looked at. Now to get your future employer to notice you. You need a CV that will make you stand out above the crowd. And an online CV, that you put together yourself, will give you that extra edge to get the job you want. And you need the edge, as you are competing with a ton of people all trying to get the same job you want, as well as the dreaded delete button. No website, doesn't matter. There are many free websites you can choose from. So you can have an online CV even if you haven't got a website. Nowadays you can do some amazing things with free websites, and you don't need any skills to set them up. In the book we use a number of free websites that are very easy to use. The learning curve doesn't take too long to master. Now how do you set up an online CV? Well this little book will show you how. It goes through which FREE programs to use and how to use the programs. So anybody with limited internet skills will be able to put together an online CV, as well as a video presentation. And you could be on the way to write a book to add value to what you can put on your CV. The unusual all helps when you are going for a job in a depressed job market. There are many different little bits and pieces that you can do to add more meaning to your CV. It doesn't take much to upgrade a boring old CV. Also with the book, there is a link to an online video, that has been put together using the free software mentioned in the book. The video walks you through, on screen, how to use the software. So even if your computer skills need upgrading, you can still throw together a very decent online CV with a video. Since the internet has invaded our lives it has somehow managed to change what we do and how we do it, in a very short time. There are still jobs advertised in the newspapers, but there are more jobs advertised online on the internet. When you apply for a job advertised in the newspaper, do you send in a traditional CV or do you apply online. And if you apply online, how do you apply. At present online CVs do not seem to be the rage. And a CV copy pasted to an email, does not look very good. So what do you do? You can have a CV online so anybody can access it. When your CV is online you can twink it to suit the job you are going for, and it is very easy to adjust and change, as your situation changes. The online world is the future, so making your CV available online is being part of the future.

This little book is for anyone who is struggling to make ends meet. And for the few who want to start saving again. Life is difficult out there and changing one's spending habits is a start. Check out the freelancer sites, join a few and quote for some jobs, and see what happens. Right now, 2020, the world has gone mad, it has changed completely from what it was like when I was young. The government has gone tax mad and regulation mad. And to top it off we have the added expense of the internet. Electricity prices keep going up, and rents are definitely not cheap anymore. And if you have made the biggest investment of your life and actually brought your house, you can guarantee land taxes will go up and keep going up. And while keeping up with world events, the price of oil has increased so the price of gas at the pump has also increased. You would think the government would use some tax relief on gas but that would give them less money to waste. We are getting screwed on all sides. What about milk - the bottom has fallen out of the world price, but on the supermarket shelf the price hasn't moved. All expenses have gone up, but wages and if you are on the pension, nothing has moved up. Things are not good on the home front. Saving money is something your parents used to do, and something you'd love to do, but there is nothing left at the end of the week. Money just slips through your fingers. Even now if you have a job, you still need to have a plan to save money.If you are living pay-check to pay-check, you cannot afford any hiccups. Even the price of food has gone through the roof. Just to survive you need to keep track of how much money slips through your fingers. The worst expense is the rent, and that comes out every week. That is first expense and there is not much left after that. Now, how do you pay cheap rent?

For some reason I started packing on the pounds and I needed to get it off. This is my story, the trials and tribulations of an everyday person who wanted to lost weight. Somebody who wanted to do it themselves without a trainer and without a program to follow. Just by checking out the internet and watching a number of youtube videos to find out how to the exercises. The rest was getting started and changing direction when new information cropped up. To lose weight you just have to do one thing and that is follow Nike's advice and' Just do it." If you can't do that then losing weight could be beyond you. To start, if you are totally not fit, is to sweat it out on the floor or in the garden or where ever. But you have to start doing exercises and sweating it out. When you first start you will find you can't do very much, but if you keep at it you will start to get fit. And the key to losing weight is getting fit enough to keep increasing the length of time you do exercises. So don't over do it when you first start out, because you are just not fit enough. And to get fit takes time. Because you are doing it yourself, you can change your exercise regime to suit your fitness level, and the exercises you do. As well as changing anything or everything to suit your daily schedule. This way you are in control. And I think you have to change if you are not making any progress. Everything about my exercise schedule had changed from when I started. Even the exercises changed over time as I tried out new combinations. Then when I found out about inflammation I slowed down to give my body time to recover. And that is when I started making progress. I even threw in a bit of HIIT to give me something more to try out. And it all helped. Now I feel lost if I don't do some exercises and some jogging each week. I just don't try to overdo it. The other part of the equation is you have to do it. If you want to slim down, you have to make the effort and find the time to do your daily exercises. This way you will get fit enough to do more exercises then you will slim down faster. You have to find out the best time to do your exercises, and if you do not like the time you are doing your fitness exercises, change. It is that simple.

How did caveman kids survive and thrive before at the dawn of time when everything was stacked against them The caveman kids and grandpa were always at the cave while their parents were out hunting or gathering food. After a successful mammoth hunt they bumped into a little lost baby mammoth and changed history.They were now mobile and they had muscle power. But they were up against nature and sometimes nature turned against them, but this time the baby mammoth sounded a warning, and the whole tribe got out of harms way. The baby mammoth had nowhere to go so she joined the herd and kept the kids happy and warm at night. But this is only the beginning: we shell keep an eye on what the caveman kids get up to as the baby mammoth get older and bigger and helps out at the cave.A long time ago before planes and trains and before buses and bicycles. Even before we rode horses. During a time when everybody walked, "Rock Thrower" and his older sister "Little Leaf" lived with their family in a cave. Their home was on the side of a hill overlooking their beautiful valley. In their little family there was Grandpa and Grandma along with three uncles and two aunties. There were many little children with their own mothers and fathers. It was a big happy family all living together in the safety of the smoke blackened cave. Rock Thrower and Little Leaf's mother and father loved the cave and everybody in it and they somehow managed to keep everybody happy. Home was in a beautiful place, around the cave everything was green. The sky above was a deep rich blue and at night the whole sky was pinpointed with endless lights. It was beautiful to sit outside at night around the fire just looking up at the heavens. Life was good, there was plenty of food but they had to find the berries and bird's eggs. They followed the bees to the sweet juicy honey high in the tree. That was the easy part, now the fun part began. Only the grown-ups would get the honey. And then there was lots of laughter when somebody got stung and started jumping around the place. They all loved the honey, it was a welcome treat. Life in the spring, summer and autumn was good. Especially autumn when there were many fruits and berries to eat. But the good days soon gave way to the cool days of late autumn. The Old Saying "If You Give A Man A Fish And You Feed Him For A Day But If You Teach Him To Fish You Feed Him For A Lifetime" Is Very True But Sometimes Hard to Implement When I was teaching English in Hanoi Vietnam I tried to help a homeless man better himself. He got fired from his job of parking motorcycles, mainly because he was useless and I was very soon going to find out how useless he really was. I met him across the street from where I lived. I used to walk past him on the way to the bus stop and as he spoke English he started talking. I mean he spoke English but he didn't understand anything I said. A sort of a one sided conversation. As I was his only friend and he was probably my only friend I used to take him to lunch in the cheapest place I could find. He had a few psychological problems, mainly to do with self esteem, as he would bore the pants of anyone who tried to talk to him by reviewing his life history. So he had very few friends. I used to run around this little garden and do exercises in the morning and he ended up living on a park bench in this garden, so I saw a lot of him. He left his boarding house as he couldn't pay the rent and in the summer this garden was a good place to live. Anyway I saw a lot of him, he had no money and he was too proud to ask for any so I took him to lunch. He couldn't get a job as he was pretty useless so I tried to work out what he could do. He wouldn't become a beggar, he was too proud for that or not hungry enough. He would rather starve than become a thief as he was pretty honest. So what could we do. In the end we settled on polishing shoes. Now that was something he could do, I hoped. Anyway I set him up with the polish and the brushes and off he went. Now I was very worried as my visa was running out and I would have to leave, so I had to get him up to speed pretty quick. Not an easy task. He had no motivation and for him to live he needed to polish five shoes a day, but that was nearly an impossibility. I told him what to say to the foreigner and he still couldn't get it right. I took him round the streets and showed him shoes that needed polishing and nothing happened. Another saying crossed my mind, "You can take a horse to water but you can't make it drink."

Teach Your Children To Read And Write Using A Time-Tested Reading Method That Has Been Teaching Children For Over One Hundred Years So in my quest to help struggling readers get up to speed in reading I turned to a system that has been successfully teaching children to read for a 100 years. This teaching method has always been around but it never really took off in mainstream schools. It is a hands-on approach to teaching reading. You, the parent, have to be there to help teach your child. It is not a teaching system where you sit your child in front of the TV or computer and leave them to it. No, with this system you have to be there, making up the phonic sounds and words your child is learning. Then helping your child trace the sandpaper letters the same way you would write the letter. And while doing this, your child has to say the phonic sound. I'm talking about the Maria Montessori method of teaching reading and writing using phonics sounds and sandpaper letters. Children Will Learn To Read Using All Three Senses This teaching method uses all of the 3 different modes of learning - seeing, hearing and touch. If you learn using the three modes of learning you will learn faster.

Debt has slowly crept into our lives and it has got to the point where it controls what we do. And sometimes we suddenly find that it controls us. Before debt was usually manageable but as expenses have increased and pay-checks haven't, debt can sometimes seem like a big heavy block holding us back. As taxes and secondary tax are taking more away and giving less back, problems are starting to arise. Also every new regulation introduced by our unelected and elected officials just so they can keep their jobs puts the price up. And that includes added expenses like fixing your car and doing home repairs, as well as everything you buy. Now we live in an over regulated society where our quality of life has decreased as our debt levels have increased. So the new regulations have increased our cost of living but done very little for our safety and happiness. At the moment the most expensive expenses are rent and gas for your car as well as electricity, internet and food. So at the end of the week you have nothing left so it is time to bring out the credit card and that is fatal. The bottomless pit just got deeper.Now this might sound really dumb but the easiest way to control debt is not to take on too much debt at the beginning. And that is very difficult because the bank says you can get this much for a mortgage and our mentality is to try and get the largest mortgage you are allowed. 'Change Your Way Of Thinking.' Do Not Buy A House You Cannot Afford. There is a very big difference between what the bank says you can afford and what you can afford so don't listen to the bank. Buy the cheapest house you can find in a reasonable part of town and live there. It might not be as good as living in the best part of town and the schools will not be as good and the crime rate will be worse, but then again your debt levels will not be too high.At the moment if you already have a mortgage and are having problems with debt start selling off your excess stuff on your local auction site. Just to de-clutter and to give you an idea of the prices available when you want to buy more stuff again. And if the house prices in your country are very high think about selling. Now don't do what everybody else does and that is buy another house. I would go back to renting and leave what money you have left over after paying off your mortgage, in the bank until the house prices drop substantially. And they will, they always do and bank managers and real estate agents will say they don't. I had a real estate agent tell me that selling your house to go back renting was not a good idea as rents were very high and a lot of rental properties were going off the market. What she said was true but your endgame is to buy a house after the prices come down. That is why you need to de-clutter so you have less material things to carry around.When getting out of debt there are only a few things you have to do. The first one is DO NOT take on any new debt, so that means you have to live within your means. In other words you need to change your shopping habits. We do not have set items to buy, we only buy what is on special and what has been marked down. That means we only buy meat that has been reduced as it has been sitting in the chiller too long. I try and buy meat that has been reduced twice that way it is closer to half price.Now the other thing you need to do is Make More Money and there are chapters in this book that show you how to do just that, you just have to try out and find what is a good fit for you.

Do You Know What To Do When You Are Teaching In Front Of A Bunch Of Kids? Travelling the world is a lot of fun. And if you find a place you would like stay for a while, then teaching kids is the way to go.There is always someone, somewhere who needs a foreigner to teach English. And that is where you come in.But first up you do need to know a little bit about teaching. And that is where this book comes in.This book is an accumulation of my seven years of classroom teaching, face to face with kids from kindergarten to the end of primary school. This is what worked for me, and it has been distilled from lots of stuff that didn't work.So you end up with the crème de la crème. Teaching kids is the way to go if you are into teaching and traveling. They are a ton of fun and they keep you fit. All this running around singing and dancing keeps you in trim.Anyway this little book will give you the basics.After going through the book, getting a few flashcards and a couple of props, like toys or puppets together you should be able to go into a classroom and teach a class like a pro, at least that is what anyone watching would think.There is nothing in the book about teaching theory the book is only about doing it.That means standing in front of the class and holding a class of youngsters spellbound for about 30 seconds.The book covers most aspects of teaching young learner's English and it can be used for other subjects.When teaching kids there are a few things you need to know to do with classroom management.And there are links to videos that explain a rather simple but very effective method to keep kids under control. But as always there can be a few problem children that don't follow the rules. And you are introduced to other ways to keep kids from disrupting the class.In any country classroom management is a must and if you can go into a class and keep it under control then that is a very big plus.You need to explore what you can do in a classroom that suits your personality style or your teaching style.And the book introduces you to different teaching methods that you can try out. I prefer flashcards and drawing on the blackboard, because I can't sing and dance or read with an animated voice.So with the book you can try out different methods to use in the classroom, and pick what you feel more comfortable with. You do need a few things like flashcards and a few toys to keep the kids happy. There are links to flashcard sites and how to use toys in the classroom.I use the students in the class as often as possible to help me and they usually hold the flashcards. With flashcards there are games you can play with the cards but they must be well protected as the kids will destroy them. Also there are different ways you can introduce a flashcard to the class. This book is about what worked for me. Now I am not saying it'll work for you, but try it out and see what happens.There is also links to the internet. I claim the internet is the greatest teacher of all, but you have to search to find the juicy bits. The storm of the century just landed in the USA. The floods in Australia last year. The earthquake that flattened Christchurch in New Zealand, and the Japan disaster that took what Mother Nature can do to new heights. And don't forget the riots in the Middle East. They are more likely the result of 50 years of unrelenting population growth than governmental discontent. There is no shortage of disasters affecting places on the planet. Just watch the news on TV and you'll see all the disasters from around the world unfolding before your eyes. Are the people you see on TV, after the disaster, prepared or are they just waiting for the government to help out? Do you want to be like them or do you want to be in control? Do you have enough tinned and dried food to keep you going when all hell breaks loose? Where are you going to get water? Do you have a mindset to survive? Are You A Little Bit Worried About something like that happening to your little corner of the planet. What would you do if an earthquake flattened your city and you and your family survived. What about a flood that left you living off the roof of your house. What would you do to get safe water to drink when you are surrounded by water. Also, what if civil unrest swept through your neighborhood. And you had to lie low, actually very low for a couple of weeks before order was restored. Can you survive? The Way The Planet Is Going These Things Or Something Similar Could Happen Anytime Soon Like a pandemic marched around the globe. How would you survive if there were no vaccines to stop it. There are a number of things you can do that should give you a better chance of survival. Are you a little bit worried about the future? Are you prepared or thinking about doing something to prepare for a future that could be quite different from what is around us today? There are many things that could turn Your safe neighbourhood into A war zone. Apart from the usually suspects like earthquakes and floods and social unrest. You could also have the bees dying off or petrol running out, just to name a few. Both would stop food getting onto the supermarket shelves. And once the supermarket shelves are empty, then it is every family for themselves. Civilization has been very good to us. But as our society gets more and more complex it gets more and more fragile and it all runs on electricity. And when the electricity goes off and doesn't come back on again, we will go from the Modern Age to the Middle Ages in less than a week.-What will you do?-Can you live without the fridge?-Have you lived all your life with a fridge like I have?-What will you do for water?-How can you make water safe to drink when you have no electricity to boil the water?Where do you get food to eat after the supermarket has been stripped bare?-Do you have any food hidden and stored in your home?-What about growing a garden?-What are you going to do now?-Are you going to leave it up to the government or are you going to take control of your future. Even if the electricity doesn't go off we can at least prepare for the worst. Western Civilization is so complex that any major disruption could throw your own suburb into total chaos. Something Could Happen Any Time Soon. -Like the long anticipated pandemic.-Or a global warming flood or drought that knocks a big dent in the available food supply.-Or Monsanto screws up and destroys a major food supply crop with its genetic tinkering.When Mother Nature Goes Mad The Electricity Could Go Off So you need to know a little bit about surviving after the electricity goes off.

Do you need some help and advice to steer you in a different direction. You can't deny it your whole world has changed over the last few years and like it or not you are going to be affected. It is how you react to these changes that will determine your future. Now I am what I call an urban survivalist I have spent most of my adult life preparing for the coming collapse of our civilization as we know it. That is one of the disadvantages of falling in love with history at a very early age. In my spare time I kept finding out about early civilization, how they came and went and why. Nowadays there is a lot of talk about this generation seeing the end of western civilization, but as usual not many people are taking any notice. They still believe the government will help them. But if you look back in history you will find that the governments are the first to fall, so it is up to me and you to plan our survival. Being an urban survivalist I try to live in a very sustainable way and that means doing without some things or using a lot less of everyday things. Trying to live without the trappings of modern democratic society is extremely difficult, but you can use a lot less of everything and save a ton of money in the process. And then when civilization does decide to collapse you will not be thrown into a situation where you have to rely on a failing government for support. Living the future is about surviving the end of cheap oil. There are a few problems in the world and they all come together with hard to find oil, climate change and overpopulation. One of the differences between our civilization and past civilizations is population. Mankind's Achilles' heel is we are very good at reproducing ourselves and staying alive. In my view to survive the future you need to get away from areas that have too many people. The reason the world can support as many people as it does is because of oil. Oil makes life easy. Take away the oil and we have problems. So you do not want to be in an area where there are many people. The future doesn't look so bright so what do we do to survive it. To survive the future we have to look at what is not going to survive and live accordingly. Most futurists and historians seem to think that the huge metropolises we have created are not sustainable. Cities have been a part of mankind's existence but the planet is littered with the remains of cities that have not survived. In other places cities have been occupied for up to 5000 years and beyond. But some of these cities have had very turbulent pasts so maybe in times of crisis and collapse big cities are not the places to be. Without oil big cities will end up uninhabitable. There is no way they can survive. If the Saudi Oilfields collapsed tomorrow the cities would be very terrible places to live. The best thing you could do is just get out, but where would you go. Hopefully you would know somebody living in the countryside or in a small town. To prepare for the future you need to have a small village or town in the countryside a long way away from any big city that you can go too. With the collapse of the real estate market you should be able to pick up an old house and a couple of acres pretty cheap hopefully. Right now homesteading is becoming popular so more and more people are leaving the cities.
