Is it the phalanx of lust or bondage with the material objects & the actions or karma of one that obstructs an individual from crusading towards the path of liberation? The 4 men in this global village depicted through the WIND MODEL of human qualities offer the shortest dependable philosophy of individual's mind based upon the 3 gunas viz. SAATVIK, RAJSIK and TAMSIK, and accordingly there exist 4 kinds of men in this world or the global village. The action performed by one in order to attain something or towards the attainment of anything is known as karma, while the Dharma of an individual refers to the righteousness in the overall character or personality or perception of an individual which is purely dependent upon his intentions and objectives. The Bahgwad Gita and teachings of Lord Krishna provides immense inspiration for every individual to act in a righteous manner for the benefit of this world without expecting any fruitive results for the acts or work done because nothing in this world is permanent and death is the ultimate truth and therefore, one's actions should be devoid of any material desire. Such a thought process enables one to be liberated from all forms of attachment with this materialistic world, so that dharma or righteousness may be established in this Global Village. The concept of 4 Men originated in my mind from the concept of 3 gunas which has been dealt with in details in this book. These gunas are the traits of an individual and are prevalent in every human irrespective of his ethnicity, sex, color, race etc. and also leaves a question mark in the minds of every individual for the identification of his/her qualities based on such gunas. Further the elaboration about the need for deviation of WIND towards harmonization of material & spiritual development of individuals is also elaborated which is the utmost need of an hour if the righteousness and prosperity of this Global Village is to be enhanced.
Although the science of genetics is relatively new, people have understood the hereditary nature of traits and have ¿practiced¿ genetics for thousands of years. The importance of genetic and environmental factors in orthodontics has been discussed mainly with reference to the etiology of malocclusions. Little thought has been given to the effect of genetic and non-genetic factors on orthodontic therapy and the stability of treatment results. The same holds true for the changes in facial appearance and dental conditions taking place between adolescence and old age. Until adulthood, the permanent interaction between genetic and environmental factors guides and controls the process of growth and development and determines the morphologic and physiologic traits of the individual. There is adequate evidence that many developmental conditions are primarily under genetic control. This book will give a brief review of the history of genes in various malocclusions.
"It seemed as if it was just me, and just her, just like the way we had first talked, just like I had always imagined, just Like how I wanted it to be." Was it love at first, or was it love every time after that? A love story spread across twenty years. This is the story of, Shalini and I.
The book has been written by an experienced industry professional with a corporate perspective. The author approaches the soft skills training from the point of view of a corporate soft skills training imparted by skilful industry leaders. This has not been written as a theoretical exercise. No boring theory, no wasted time ! Rather, each chapter has been approached as a working session: Imparting soft skills by solving real problems and discussing workable solutions which the reader can apply immediately and keep for life. The structure of the book is in the form of a Personal Development Compass developed by the author. Just as a compass guides travellers through their journey and helps them to reach their destination, in the same way the Personal Development Compass too guides the reader to navigate their way through the maze of the different soft skills and help them to polish their personalities.
