Cooking has always been my passion. I believe cooking to be an innate talent because it just came naturally to me. Receiving praises and compliments on my cooking from families and friends motivated me to write this recipe book. I pour my heart and soul into the food I cook, and these recipes are no different. I encountered many challenges, adversaries, and rejections on my journey here. But I always believed in myself and my goals. I never gave up on my dreams and eventually achieved.

Unfortunately, throughout her adulthood she encounters issues with domestic violence, prison marriage, drug smuggling, sexual harassment and more. Rose Marie worked very hard to get out of the ghetto, and out of the welfare system. She graduated from college, finds what she thought was the job of her dreams and gives that job nine years of her life, and in return the job gives her the fight of her life.

We all remember Rose Marie as the wisecracking Sally Rogers on The Dick Van Dyke Show, or recognize her from her perch in the top middle square on Hollywood Squares, but not everyone knows her career in show business has spanned almost seventy years.
