I am going to take you on a trip through the mind of a person with mental illness. I know firsthand how your difficult times, some of which I never knew if I would get bet-ter. There are some very dark episodes in my story. I want people to see that even in the darkest times, things can get better. Listen to my story and how I overcame the battle. It was not easy. I am a recovering person, and these are some of the hoops I had to jump through in order to get to a better life. I am a proponent of treatment for mental illness. This story explains in detail what can happen. Every person has a different story to tell. I hope this can be a light for someone in their recovery. This is not boring and will have your attention; after all, there is hope.
