Urdu Shaayari is the most popular genre of Urdu writing and is often the first exposure to the Urdu language for most of us, thanks to popular Hindi film songs and ghazals, which have enthralled generations in South Asia. One can read Shaayari either in Urdu or in English or Hindi transliteration. Many of the Urdu words used in Shaayari are familiar to those North Indians for whom Urdu is not the first language. But one still comes across unfamiliar words and compound-words in every sher, the meaning of which are not known. And these unfamiliar words rob the entire sher of its magic! Moreover, dictionaries do not give the meanings of compound-words. This is a pity since the real challenge in knowing the meaning of compound-words is that the correct nuance of their meanings is often different from the sense derived by merely putting together the meaning of individual words comprising the compound word. Hence I have compiled the 'The Urdu Dictionary of Shaayari - In English'. It is a comprehensive dictionary dedicated exclusively to words and compound-words drawn from the most popular shers of the Masters of Urdu Shaayari of South Asia and the diaspora. This enlarged version is filled with 3300+ Urdu words from Urdu Shaayari. And its uniqueness lies in the inclusion of 350+ compound-words drawn from these shers of Masters Shaayars. The moment you encounter an unfamiliar word or compound-word, just pop open 'The Urdu Dictionary of Shaayari - In English' and return quickly to the sher, which now resonates with meaning! The Urdu words and compound-words are transliterated in English and arranged alphabetically for ease of reference, with the word meaning in English. In addition, each Urdu word and compound-word is transliterated in Hindi since the pronunciation is rendered truer in Hindi. Sunil Gupta 'Mustaqil'
This book presents a research work towards the Identification and Control of Non-Linear Systems based on Fuzzy Models approach. A TS fuzzy model has been implemented successfully to a known benchmark problem of the identification of non-linear plant data. FCM Clustering based approach has been used for the classification of input ¿output data points. After clustering gradient descent method is used for the learning of parameters. It has also been implemented on a real data problem which is a model of an operator¿s control of a chemical plant and the accuracy was comparable to the results reported in the literature. The entire system has been modeled using MATLAB 7.0/Simulink toolbox.
"A collection of essays by Sunil Gupta offers an unparalleled firsthand account of the influential photographer and curator's practice since the 1970s"--

Delhi offers a stunning series of more than 150 full-color documentary photographs and companion first-person texts, which together offer an unprecedented portrait of LGBTQ people's lives in India today. Focusing on Delhi, noted photographers Sunil Gupta and Charan Singh chronicle the halting emergence of networks of men and women living under the shadow of stigma and criminalized behavior-in a country where anti-sodomy laws dating back to the British Empire were recently struck down, only to be reaffirmed in a surging wave of homophobia. The photographs in this lavishly presented volume reflect the photographers' celebrated capacity for entering into lives rarely seen. In Delhi, we are invited into the daily routines, work, homes, and intimate lives of subjects from different backgrounds-from urban professionals to day laborers. A visually arresting document in its own right, Delhi presents American readers with a starting point for understanding the profound struggles for recognition by India's LGBTQ community.Delhi was designed by Emerson, Wajdowicz Studios (EWS).
