This little work is a fine collection of poetry for those interested in the same; with a pagan twist, involved with love, love loss, death, and the celebration of life in general. Some of the poems venerate nature in a quasi-worshipful sense, as tends to be the case in neopaganism as well.At once entertaining and therefore spiritually useful, "Poems of Paganism" is of potential use for the more artistic spiritual occultist.

Dean Harris' "Essays in Occultism" is an intriguing collection of material related to subjects as diverse as demonic possession, bilocation, and spiritism. Largely chastising the spiritualist movement and warning about ouija boards and planchettes from a Catholic perspective, it provides numerous examples of the phenomena it lists, often from purportedly nonfiction sources.From cataleptic monks visiting a dying pope to an apparition that guides a ship to save stranded travelers on an iceberg, it is as much worth reading for its fantastical tales as for the underlying philosophy it espouses.

"Miracles and Supernatural Religion" is a comprehensive treatment of the subject of miracles within a Christian context and the burgeoning reformist mentality of the era of its manufacture. The author was a pastor, but includes a bit of rationalism within his various sections here.Of great interest especially to the occultist is this works' content regarding those buried alive, those resurrected from the grave (not just Lazarus) and other topics related to mortality.

Phallic Miscellanies is one of a number of works on the issue of phallic symbols, the yoni, sex magic, and pagan ritualism written in the 1890s by an unknown author generally assumed to be Hargrave Jennings. It is a fairly deep work, with numerous references to Hindu scripture and some minor forays into Islam and Buddhism.The symbolism is, in Hinduism, fairly explicit- the lingam and yoni are worshiped openly and, in a more literal sense by some sub-schools of Hindu thought. In its era of manufacture this book was utterly taboo, hence its privately printed status, and would have shocked the audience with lurid depictions of "degenerated" worship, by Western standards at the time.

The Mind Telegraph is an odd booklet, one part philosophical and one part decently long purported autobiographical work, it describes the use of mental willpower for various purposes, communication at distance, and so forth, before delving into a series of situations involving the same.The author is an enigma about whom nothing significant is known and the purported original German edition this work was translated from may not even actually exist.

This work of Rudolf Steiner's creation is predominantly a collection of various mystic philosophy from the spiritual minds of the Renaissance (although it mentions and details some prior, Medieval work and a few contemporary figures as well.) From Boehme to Paracelsus, and from Agrippa to Eckhart, it speaks about the nature of mortality, of divinity, the nature of reality, and other occult topics.With numerous quotations of works from these individuals and plenty of secondary materials used to flesh the ideas expressed out, the relation between man and the divine is explored here in significant depth from Steiners' Theosophical and Anthroposophical perspective.
