Grumo and Cepita ¿ a small piece of whinstone and a grape vine ¿ tell in a loving way the history of the Canary Islands from the formation to the present. On his journey Grumo meets plants and animals, which only live on these islands. He tells about the way of life of the native people, the Guanches, up until the time after the Conquista, the invasion of the Canary Islands by the Spanish. Cepita got to know many of the Islands traditions and customs and tells her friend about her experiences. This book is written for children in pre-school age and wants to generate interest in the unique nature and traditions, which are still alive on the Canary Islands.
