In this novel, the Author continues with his care and concern for street children to bring out yet another in his series of "We Care" stories. Based loosely on real life characters and situations, his books have given us an insight into the plight of kids with nowhere to live but on the streets, and no one to turn to except each other. His first published work, "The Saga of Alex and His Friends" showed us what can happen to these street kids when there is no one who cares. His book however, opened our eyes to the possibilities to what could be done when there are people who care enough to do something about it. "We Care" came about when these people got together and pooled their resources together to provide shelter and care for homeless kids. In this novel, which is a sequel to "The Saga of Alex and His Friends", Mr. Warner brings in a number of new characters who also become involved in the "We Care" program. Some of these characters however, become extremely violent toward one of the newly employed employees at "We Care" after they discover who he is and what he had done to one of their own. Cliffhanger, tears, and heart-warming moments abound in this novel by Mr. Warner.

And of course it all comes back to haunt her and everyone around her.
