I've been looking outward more, to the world outside my own head. This new collection hasmore of a balance between my experiences and those of other people. I've included one Covidpoem I didn't get published before - called, hopefully, a "memory." I've also included, withmild trepidation, a few poems on religious topics. They don't require religious faith, but, ifyou don't like religion, just skip them. Though I've tackled some serious topics in this collection, Ihope I've kept my lighter touch.

Tom Carnicelli taught English in various colleges for 53 years, 46 of them at the University of New Hampshire. He retired in 2013. He wrote poetry in his own college days and started writing it again after he retired. He tries to make his poems accessible to everyone, not just English majors.
