I have found David the son of Jesse, a man after My heart. (Acts 13:22) Business leaders face perplexing challenges to succeed in the marketplace, they make difficult decisions affecting the lives of their employees, and they inspire their staff to give their best. They experience triumphs and defeats, elation and agony, real wins and real losses. And while the Bible doesn't give us a manual for business leadership, it does give us a window into the heart after God's heart, the heart of King David. He faced similar challenges as a gifted tactician, strategist, and ruler, and he was very far from perfect. As David walked through his leadership challenges and his personal failures, he communicated his heart in his psalms. Many business leaders today apply the principles of the ancient Chinese general Sun Tzu from The Art of War to their business. In fact, legions of Sun Tzu devotees are out there applying the principles of a pagan conqueror to attack the marketplace for personal gain. How much better to consider the brilliance of God's conqueror King David, a man after His own heart? David's psalms are poetic expressions of this heart. Furthermore, his psalms continue to be "living and active" (Hebrews 4:12) as they are indeed part of the living and active Word of God for business leaders today. No followers of Sun Tzu would dare to make such an amazing claim. Business after God's Heart challenges the heart of the business leader to follow after the heart of God, as it is revealed in the psalms of David. And ultimately, as the leader's personal engagement in business flows from this heart, it will yield the fruit of Business after God's Heart.

Evil men flew an unmarked ship into Union Fleet space docks and marked it for destruction to hide the evil they had done. But at those very gates of hell did I find hope - a single leaf in the wind. In our darkest hour, did John Korbin first step foot upon the decks of the Tesseract and change everything. He knew nothing of the evil that was done, but he found the crew that evil men thought were lost and gone forever. And save the Tesseract? To use his own words: Damned straight, he did.Together, John and the crew of the Tesseract saved Sophie from the growls and rescued Emma from the Mercs. John Korbin and the crew of the Tesseract battled pirates and fought Mercs, all to make the outworlds a safer place to live. They went wherever Fate sent them. Making a difference started with them. But along the way, the Tesseract had become the Nexus of Fates and John Korbin, Evil's worst nightmare. So Evil set in motion his grand plan. It was more than just a plan; it was a masterpiece of evil. Like the gears of a clockwork angel of death, Evil's plan moved relentlessly forward toward its inevitable conclusion.John Korbin found beauty in the light of four moons and set them free, but he didn't find me. Only he can do what it takes to set me free. Unless he does, none of us will survive. I am the fifth moon. Shaydes of an Ancient Evil has the full flavor and robust action of a guns blazing western that you have come to expect of the The Tesseract Codex series with a whole new twist; Evil has now set his plan in motion to kill John Korbin. The story takes unexpected twists and turns through the pages and does not quit on your mind to the very last word.
The epic tale of The Tesseract Codex continues as it drops you right into the middle of the action with a gang of interplanetary mobsters hunting down a Special Forces agent in the streets of Habston determined to kill him. It quickly becomes a running gun battle as John Korbin and the crew of the Tesseract tries to save him.So, Special Forces formed a plan to hire the Tesseract to secretly deliver their agents to Daggan-7. Their plan would end this business with the interplanetary gangsters once and for all. The journey began with good intentions, but the alien mysteries of the Tesseract were once more to threaten the crew and strand the ship in dense space. The only clue as to how they would survive was a cryptic error message... but from where? The Tesseract did survive to deliver their Special Forces agents secretly to Daggan -7. The crew of the Tesseract were officially noncombatants in this strike that was to decapitate the interplanetary gang, but there are no noncombatants in a war zone. John Korbin soon found himself with no choice but to rescue his Special Forces agents himself. Even worse, John found his ship caught up in an even larger scheme to take over Daggan-7 by an old nemesis of Special Forces. It would be touch and go right down the end to get the Tesseract off of Daggan-7 to safety. However, even that did not work out as planned either. The Tesseract had escaped from the hands of one villain only to encounter a one worse when John Korbin runs face-to-face into the woman responsible for the death of his entire family during the war. The plot of this tale twists and turns as it weaves its way through your mind. The Tesseract Codex: Special Forces will keep you turning pages right down to the last and leave you questioning your own sanity and wondering what comes next, but you will find no spoilers here as the plot takes one more turn.

In the beginning, evil humans conspired to destroy the Tesseract and kill its crew to hide the evil they had done, but I refused to give up. I would fight them to the end! In our darkest hour, indeed at the very gates of Hell, did my father find a single leaf in the wind, John Korbin. My father found John Korbin, but I chose him to save my ship. John Korbin set foot upon the decks of the Tesseract and changed everything. He not only saved my ship, but he found the crew that evil men thought was lost and gone forever. He made all the difference. He set me free. All that seems so long ago now. My own people, Anoza not humans, came in the night to kill me. They came to kill my unborn child. They came to finish an ancient evil that filled their hearts. Only John Korbin, wounded and bleeding, stood against them, but he did. It was all that we could do just to fight for our very lives, but that would not be the end of it. Our time-space ring made us vulnerable, and now they know where to find us. My people are almost a million years older than humans. We Anoza had put evil behind us long ago... or so we thought. For one Anoza to raise a hand in anger against another Anoza is unthinkable, so none of this made any sense at all. Then we discovered that the evil ones had kidnaped my father! How much worse could this get? It was about to get a lot worse. To rescue my father, the Tesseract would be pitted against unknown forces with quantum technology a million years more advanced. But unknown forces would not be the Tesseract's only problem. There was a Merc rebellion brewing out beyond the Seven Pillars. It was led by John's arch nemesis, Sarsen Tabbot. A whole civil war was out there boiling over right where the Tesseract needed to go. Even worse, to rescue my father we would have to cross the Great Rift into Anoza space. But the Tesseract is more than just a starship. It is the Nexus of Fates, and it seems to have a mind of its own. As I think about it now, the Tesseract chose me for my indomitable spirit. The Tesseract chose John Korbin for his warrior's spirit. The Tesseract had chosen each member of the crew for a reason, and it was not done yet. There is one more left to choose. The Tesseract last choice could blow this whole thing wide open.

Evil men conspired to have a starship destroyed to hide the evil they had done. They intended for its crew to disappear forever. In all of that chaos at the end of the war, the Anoza somehow found me. They chose me to save the Tesseract. I didn't know any of that when I bought a ship that was never meant for sale. I didn't know any of that when I first stepped foot upon its decks and changed everything... but I know it now. And save the Tesseract? Damned straight, I will.I am John Korbin, outworlder to the nines. By the end of the war, I had lost everything. I went to the Union Fleet space docks to buy a war surplus scout-class ship, to start my whole life over. The Tesseract was nothing I expected but everything I needed. And you know that crew they thought was lost and gone forever? Well, think again. Now the crew and I go wherever we are needed. Making a difference starts with us.Just because I am paranoid does not mean that people are not out to get me. Sarsen Tabbot sent her most fearsome killer ship, a Dark Star, to kill me and destroy my ships. That only makes my point. Mankind was cast into the outer darkness because of the evil in our hearts. So, as you can see, I have my work cut out for me.Through all of this, I was inexorably drawn into the Codex, hidden deep within the Tesseract. The Codex is Anoza quantum technology a million years more advanced than human, but where is it taking me? And why me?
You never know what you are capable of until you try. As a millworker, John Green was an uneducated man. That is, until the Battle of Waterloo, when he began his medical training right on the battlefield. From Waterloo to America, Green ventured to take his medical talents to the New World. When he arrived there, he fell in love with and married a Cherokee woman, despite society's disapproval. Soon Green became the first resident physician in Mineral County, Virginia. Though he eventually studied for his medical degree, he often developed his own practices based on experience rather than education. Though he had a private practice in New Creek, Virginia-a place rife with the political turmoil of the Civil War-his real office was in the back of a wagon, his tools were no more than what he could carry in his black bag, and his patients were spread throughout the wilderness of new Virginia. Based on a true story from the handwritten journals discovered by his descendants, Sawbones fictionalizes the incredible journey of one doctor's life in a young country torn apart by war.
