"In Columbus" takes the reader through an out-of-synch, or un-chronological journey through Timmy's childhood. The small sections are like vignettes on their own and when put together they create a miasma of human consternation. "Planes" takes the reader along with pilot Davis Parker as he, while navigating through planes of thought, redefines fatherhood. He, too, is contending with the possibility of enlightening his adopted daughter, Lillian "Bird" Parker. "The Beauty in Bereavement" takes the reader along with Judy Tremont as she, following the recent loss of her husband, apprehends the beauty in bereavement. Judy Tremont is an aging woman in a world which is quite changed. The recollections of her husband, Augustus Tremont, and of her son, Franklin Tremont, intermittent and entwined in the narration with dreams she has been having since her husband's death provokes thoughts pertaining to turn of the century philosophy, turn of the century familial dynamics, and music. "Equal Men" takes the reader along with protagonist Richard Louis on a defining day in his life-the day he retires and the day his son, in his eyes, atolls.

The temporal travels through Constantinople in 1453, Constantinople in 1923, and Newfoundland and Labrador in 2017, follow a certain recurrence in Orthodox spirituality. The fantastic escape of a priest named Pantagathus, in 1453 Constantinople; the travels of Panagiotis in the evacuation of Constantinople in 1923; and the pursuits of Pete Tsiminis, in 2017-ravel the macrocosm of jest and the senescence of Orthodox heritage together, in a piquant and veritable story. There has not been a story of this type told, with the structural contiguity and with the stark honesty. Otus in Betulceæ does depict a semblance in the disparaged time periods, and the novel does accentuate the unseemliness of time.

Charles Rich and William Dean were friends for over twenty years. They were intelligent, well-educated men in a small farming community named Jaffrey NH. on the Massachusetts' border. William was called Doctor, although trained as a doctor, he never practiced. He lived with his wife, Mary, on a hilltop farm two miles out of the village of Jaffrey. Dr. Dean had a spectacular view of Mount Monadnock, and he milked his cows late in the morning, and late at night, and after his body was found stuffed down a well, it was thought he had information about the lights that someone didn't want him to share with The Department of Justice. People saw lights from the mountain beginning in the summer of 1916, and it was feared there were German spies signaling boats in the ocean sixty miles away about troop movements from Fort Devens. The Department of Justice sent agents to Peterborough NH in April of 1918 to investigate the lights under The Espionage Act of 1917. On the morning of August 14, 1918 Dr. Dean's body was found in a well at the same time his good friend showed up with a black eye.

Life and Rhythms represent author's philosophical understanding of life and what is true in the human soul. He believes these poems are cathartic and seek to amplify the human spirit with an internal light. Life and Rhythms stand as Campbell's evolution as a poet, using strict meters, forms, and rhyming schemes to put his philosophies forth. Life and Rhythms was brought about by long nights and a maddening passion to get each poem just right. The poems are our shared journeys, brimming with life lessons in a society in which we're increasingly lost. The author began Life and Rhythms knowing it could not have been written before now. His life's journey-his understanding-was only then capable of seeing life's many shades.

A cross between Samuel Beckett and Aesop's Fables, it's a darkly funny, deceptively simple and deeply layered novel.P>It has been described by Declan Kiberd - author of numerous books, including Inventing Ireland, and leading international authority on modern Irish literature - as "A genre-busting masterpiece, full of pacy storytelling, wry dialogue and philosophical challenge...It is funny, beautifully modulated and heart-rending. Róisín Sorahan has written that rare thing nowadays - a book of passion and truth which will enthral and challenge every kind of reader. In contemplating some of life's deepest mysteries, it tells a story that is hopeful, honest and necessary."Luke Gerwe - Associate Editor, PBS NewsHour, and formerly Managing Editor, Voice of Witness book series - said, "Time and the Tree is unlike anything I've read in contemporary literature - a beautiful fable fit for difficult and confusing days. This story is about teaching yourself to endure, what you might want to carry with you and what you probably should leave behind."Róisín Sorahan is an Irish writer currently living in Vermont. She has published numerous stories about her wanderings across six continents. Prior to becoming a nomad writer, she pursued a decade long career in public relations. She holds a Master of Letters from Trinity College Dublin, specializing in Samuel Beckett. For further information, visit roisinsorahan.com
