It's only through the grace of God that we have any worthwhile standing at all. We are NOT the innocent party here. Jesus is the innocent one. This is not about the unfair scenario of the good suffering. Rather, it is a case of sinful people being forgiven by a loving God. This is why I emphasize that, although this is my privileged spot, it is not my space. God owns it. I just graciously occupy it. Why God? Imagine trusting everyone and everything for something as important as life and eternity. Being that everyone and everything is different, your faith would rise and fall daily depending on who is in charge. There must be a central focus that has control over the ultimate outcome to make your faith valid, and that person is God, through Jesus Christ. It is good to know that since Jesus was nailed to the cross, we are not nailed to our sins. Forgiveness is just a request away. This assures me that "MY SPOT" is continually of God because of his love for me. This is part of my new mercies every morning, and I pray it's the same for you!

Brother James addresses the numerous doctrinal myths perpetrated from the pulpits across this country by minister's intent on distorting God's Word for their own selfish gain. Brother James espouses that all preachers should model themselves after Jesus Christ who never sought fame and fortune but chose to do His Father's will by teaching the basic messages of the Bible which are to love God first and foremost, never putting anything or anyone before Him. One can easily conclude that the author feels that too many preachers today want to be and are considered little "g" gods by their congregations while relegating and subjugating Almighty God as a benevolent father figure in the sky who is only called upon when one is in dire straits! The second basic part of Jesus's lessons is to love others as much as we love ourselves. This unique book also suggests one cannot separate love from giving so if we truly love God then we must reciprocate His love for us by showing sincere love to others and we must all show our love and devotion for Him by studying to show ourselves approved so we might not consciously be spiritually led astray. Brother James's disdain for preachers who like the Judaizes of the New Testament era who were leading God's people astray with false doctrines is beyond obvious. You may not agree with everything Brother James promulgates in this noteworthy work but will admit after reading it that it will truly make you rethink some of the things you have and are currently being taught by those who profess to be called by God to preach!

Although aware of clairvoyance and mediumship since 1974 Maxine chose work connected with the Arts - singing, dancing, promotions, advertising and writing. Pimping God's Word is inspired by the negative stories presented by the mass media regarding the downward spiraling trend of Christian values in today's churches and society at large. Church used to be a spiritual "filling station." A place where people who were broken in spirit, grieving, or morally bankrupt could come and be "filled" with the Divine Word of God. However, some of the church practices today run parallel to the greedy, corrupt, amoral, depressing and debilitating practices found on Wall Street, in major Corporate offices and in the ever encompassing legislatures at all levels of government. Our Family Treasure is an inspiring book about creativity, friendship and family. The story is taken from the author's own family history and tells of his lovely Aunt Elsie who collected odd bits of things and made her life a joyous creation. A school teacher and five of her students, as well as the parents of one of them by the name of Kim, who's father seems that he cannot find his way home, nor can he get a grip on the reality of what is happening to him. When you encounter someone with "obvious" mental health issues or what I refer to as "Throw Aways", what do you think, feel, how do you "deal" with this encounter? For many, it's get away quickly, like if this person before them has leprosy or something. If the roles were reversed, how would you wish to be treated? I was in the Navy for ten years when I began to remember things that occurred in my childhood. While in the Navy, I was diagnosed with major depression, recurrent, chronic depression, and PTSD.
