Pavlo Prokopovich Glazoviy (1922-2004) - the legendary Ukrainian poet-humorist and satirist. It happened that our life paths crossed, and our close ommunication continued for twenty years of the active creative period of the poet's life (1974-1993). Published in Ukraine on the centenary of his birth, the book of our memoirs and selected works of the poet "Unforgettable Pavlo Glazoviy" ( FOP Stebelyak, Kyiv 2022) attracted the attention of readers, which influenced our decision to introduce it to the American reader.The work of Pavlo Glazoviy is imbued with the Ukrainian folk spirit, and this is its peculiarity and enduring value. The poet uses theexpressions beloved by the people, the treasures of the living language, Ukrainian proverbs and sayings, as if giving them a second wind, which makes up the unique flavor of his fables. His rhymes are light and melodic. The often coarse, vernacular, unpretentious content His humorous poetry is combined with the sophistication of presentation. All this is extremely difficult to preserve in translation.

When a soul arrives into this world to begin its journey through life, it is given one body and one brain. There will be one person for sure, possibly more, but hopefully two to greet them. They will be nurtured, cared for, and instructed in preparation for their life journey. The origin, or starting point, for their journey will be set, and their destination will be the same as every other soul on every other journey through life. Their ability to make decisions, and the choices they make, will determine the route they take. Some journeys will be shorter, and some will take longer. Even the shorter journeys may encompass an entire lifetime of experience while some longer journeys may seem interminable to the point of madness. Some journeys may be smooth sailing right to top of the mountain. Some may be chaos with no clue as to direction, sense of order, logic or reason. Some will lead others and some will feel compelled to follow. One fact for sure is that every journey will be a story. This book is such a story. I was there at thebeginning and I was there at the end. This journey is "Marie." For that reason I kept other character's names out of the story and addressed them by nouns, pronouns, or affectionate nicknames, unless they were famous or known celebrities. We should all have someone to tell our story. It would reduce the time we have to spend listening to people telling us their own version all the time. I suspect there are parts of this story we can all relate to. My wish is that if you read "Marie" you will know that you are not traveling alone. Every minute of every mile takes us closer to our final destination, so what's your hurry?

COMPLEX - about a man named Pyriel who is hiding out from the government because they want him and any like him for their Special Workshop; a tap into the powers of the mind thang. Pyriel chooses an apartment complex that is run amuck by bad ass kids. Once Pyriel realizes what he's gotten himself into he tries to help these brats and that's when hell breaks loose. THERMAL - this one messed with me. It's about haunting, possession, voodoo, death, and conjured up demons. I killed a fifth of Jack while reading this one. HARVESTER - which is the story I personally narrate is about an Indian legend parents told their bad ass kids to make me mind, and what happened when that legend came to life. NEED - this tale reaches past the Exotic-Erotic of the entertainment industry, and is clearly blown away. Once you've read it you'll understand what I mean. I told LaErtes he should apologize to the readers for using vaguer language, the destruction of innocence, and the explicit sex and violence throughout the pages of this book. The boy told me, Shut up - keep drinking my Jack Daniels. This book is about the salvation of the soul. The boy got a point there!
