Journey into the Shadow and the Sunshine continues the theme of Journey into the Dark and the Light, the first book by Annabel Harz. Disarmingly honest words and images reveal more of her personal experiences: the deep shadows of loneliness and depression; the recognition of the value of survival at her lowest point of feeling unworthy; the importance of mental and physical space in creating a safe place for personal exploration and growth; and ultimately the sunshine of wellbeing when-through sheer grit and endurance-her personal demons had been conquered and set free.Sustained effort is required to rise out of depression once it is established as a daily state of being. The poetry and artwork in this collection exemplify the resilience required to rise above the despair of mental ill-health, and with candour and sincerity depict the internal strength which facilitates reaching a place of well-being.When words so incisively and uniquely capture the experiences of pain, misery, shame and heartache, it gives the mind and soul a new way of understanding these events. And perhaps, these words then help to heal. Annabel's words reflect the experiences of so many who span the wide spectrums of gender, age and neurodiversity. As painful as these words might be for some of us to read, these words also give hope-a pathway out of a dark place.-Sonia Street, Senior Psychologist, private practice; Psychology Board-approved psychology supervisor; teaching associate, Monash University, VictoriaIt would be difficult not to feel moved by Annabel's raw and personal work. The beauty of this book is the transition from emotions of her feeling hopeless and powerless to understanding, that to enable healing, strength and love always needs to come from within. Thank you, Annabel, for openly sharing your emotional journey, I'm sure it will give hope to many.-Christa Green, Intuitive Guidance and BodyTalk Practitioner, Sydney
Living a happy and peaceful life by logically understanding the working of your mind. Stay stress-free and fulfill your life dreams.
My book is about ghosts and goblins and everything in between out of body experiences, the chakra colours, and karma and where I fit into this mad world.
It is our great pleasure to place this book in any readers hands with the hope that the material we analysed from each day's bad events will help anyone to think that our planet is ready to explode from the crimes and injustice. Some of the laws accepted teach crime and hatred and are reached at schools from young age and create the terror of tomorrow. As we mentioned in the book we passed the Bronze era years and centuries, religion was and politicise seemed that they have failed and the proofs are the poverty and homelessnesses of millions of people all around the globe. We live now on the years of technology and we believe that technology will be stronger to step in any bloodshed ideology, or any politicians catastrophic ego. As our planet is the diamond of the galaxy, what is asking is less but healthy and happy children and the army to take care of the forests as they are the lungs of the planet.
This collection of poems has arisen from over a decade of grief and life changes. Having helped both parents transition from this life, crossing the rainbow bridge into the next realm and grieving the additional cost to a marriage that crumbled under the grief; this period of time produced many poems along with the tears. The grief journey transitions us into new lives we never dreamed could hold such memories or feel so empty of the loving presences we once took for granted. Perhaps there are poems here to help others through the tough patches in life.
The book consists of three parts. The first is the background story providing a detailed context surrounding the writing of the works. It also gives details of methodology and the origins of each work. The second part of the book is made up of the scripts for each of the works and the third section is the scores for all the original music. Education through artistic endeavour is very strong including entertaining shows featuring the circus, pirates and the celebration of Christmas. Treatment of topics is highly imaginative, especially the use of science fiction in, "e;The Rockers, the Poppers and Me"e;

After showering or having a bath I draw symbols on my body in body lotion it will remain invisible, but I can think on those symbols through the day if needed and for me they present and radiate magical powers. Example if wanting luck for a job interview, I would draw a four-leaf clover over my third eye and a dreamcatcher on my chest, while putting my intent out to the universe.
