Exmoor Tales is a circular series of four books. You can start anywhere and read through them all or just dip into them from time to time for a flavour of life on Exmoor.Ellie Keepers began this collection of detailed journal entries as a gift for her grandchildren, but we firmly believe they deserve to be shared to a wider audience, along with her stunning photographs of the landscape and wildlife to be found right on her doorstep. In this book, Ellie shows us around her cottage garden and introduces us to cheeky blackbirds. Ellie's birthday is, of course, a day of "simple pleasures", while strange sounds disturb an unusual night. Now you can relive a summer on Exmoor wherever you are, at any time of year.

This collection of short stories and poems comes from a sprightly eighty-something regular at my local writing group. Anne''s contributions are always appreciated, she has a natural writing style borne of nearly eight decades of practice. These stories and poems are very varied, coming as they do from a wide range of writing prompts. Some are funny, some sad, some thought provoking, and some have a twist in the tail. They are accompanied by several of Anne''s sketches. Anne draws as effortlessly as she writes. All the stories were originally handwriten and have been typed up by a host of kind and anonymous volunteers who made this book possible.
