Unfurled: The Founding of the Second Republic of the United States of AmericaBy: Daniel P Aude "A republic, if you can keep it." Those were Benjamin Franklin's words following the Constitutional Convention of 1787, when asked what system of government the new America would follow. Unfurled is a futuristic novel which takes place in the United States following the collapse of the federal government. After decades of political stagnation, division among Americans, and the disconnect between the governed and those elected, America is forced to rebuild itself in the wake of total capitulation. Global security and the history of humans are at stake as a group of friends fights against systemic racism kept in place by white supremacy, striving to build a republic that is truly by and for all people. Unfurled causes readers to pause and consider the path to capitulation America seems to be on today. Authoritarianism is at America's doorstep while many choose to look away, whistling past American inequities. So, can we keep our republic? The answer is up to you. About the AuthorDaniel P Aude was born into an America that had, only months before, passed the historic Civil Rights Act of 1964. He is the second youngest of nine children and was technically skilled even in youth, leading him into a career path of factory work then skilled trades. In the 1980s, anti-union sentiment was jeopardizing secure jobs in the air traffic industry, and many PATCO union members lost their jobs. It was in this environment that Dan Aude learned about the labor movement and corporate America, and he forged lifelong relationships with members of UAW who continue to provide him with insight into achieving a path to dignity and prosperity for working people. Dan Aude has two adult children, three grandchildren, and one on the way at the time this book was written, all of whom he loves very much. When not writing, Dan Aude enjoys thinking and learning about people, places, and things all over the world. His travels include Athens, Greece; Barcelona, Spain; Bologna, Italy; Braubach, Germany; Ibiza, Spain; and Bucharest, Romania-where some of his dear friends reside.

God IntercedesBrenda L.S. WehnerGod Intercedes illustrates that if you listen carefully and watch closely, you may recognize when God is taking action in our everyday lives. What is first thought to be a coincidence, once the dots are connected, may be revealed as the good Lord above talking with us, guiding us via "God winks." This book is a compilation of sweet, short stories that illustrate how God interacts with us. It is hoped that this book inspires others to see the everyday miracles that are happening for them when God winks. Perhaps these stories will inspire readers to walk with others, to guide them to likewise connect their dots, and see the winks at work. Or best of all, this book may prompt the reader to share with each other, with others, with nonbelievers, with all, their own personal experiences of these nudges, pushes, body tackles, yells and winks that the good Lord sends via the Holy Spirit to compel us in His desires to act, to give, to be, to share, to give, to go, to stop, to love, and to be like Jesus.About the authorBrenda L.S. Wehner is the proud mother of three, dedicated wife of G, and loving daughter and daughter-in-law. She is passionate about kindness, and giving to others. The four secrets that you are about to experience in this book have provided extraordinary results for me and for thousands of others. I discovered these secrets by combining years of researching hundreds of the greatest salespeople in the world, my experience starting and building three sales driven technology companies, and my own forty years of successful selling. I promise you that these four secrets are easy to understand, and if you make the effort to master them, you will achieve a level of success in your sales career that you had only dreamed about. What I have seen over the years, is that most CEOs, business owners, and sales executives are unwilling to risk any substantial investment in sales training. They have been let down by the promise of sales training. Every year someone shows up with the new secret sauce. And every year these training investments fail to provide a sustainable return. The instructors lack empathy, there is too much rah-rah, they don't know the industry, and the training content is often riddled with techniques. And the classroom role play is seldom experiential in design or truly representative of the field. But I'm telling you folks, it doesn't have to be this way. This book will address these issues, define the training needed, and provide you with comprehensive tools to build your sales team and achieve an extraordinary return on investment.Mike Kerrison is an entrepreneur, author, speaker, and sales trainer. His popular first book, Landing On Your Feet, was published in 2003. After graduating from Ohio University, he started his career as a salesman with IBM. His first year on quota, he was awarded Rookie of the Year out of 2,000 new sales reps, and over five years, he received five 100 Percent Clubs, three Golden Circles, and led the nation in new accounts. In 1980 he founded his first company, Computer Options, Incorporated, which in 1985 was ranked 149th on INC Magazine's list of the nation's fastest growing companies, reaching $26 million in sales in its first five years. The company reached $65 million before being sold in 1998. He successfully launched two other high-tech companies, Maintenance Innovators in 1986 and North Central Consulting in 1993. Both reached multi-million-dollar levels and were eventually sold to large international public firms. In 1997 North Central Consulting was ranked as the second fastest growing company in the state of Minnesota. Today Mike is the founder and CEO of Mike Kerrison International, a twenty-year-old business consulting firm specializing in executive alignment, strategic planning, culture change, and building formidable sales teams. In 2015, at the request of many of his clients, he launched a comprehensive suite of on-line sales training programs which are strikingly the same as his classroom training. He is a certified executive coach and has facilitated over 250 strategic planning sessions for Fortune 500 companies, such as Ameriprise, General Mills, BCBS, and Team Industries to small entrepreneurial growth firms. His programs have reached over 400,000 people, and he has graduated over 50,000 sales professionals from his Breakaway Performance Academy.
