Book two in the epic tale of love, lies, and Obligations! Follow Eira as she journeys to the Kingdom of Monwyn, a place where she will discover truths about herself and the power she wields in a society where the men of the Mountain have reigned supreme... until now...Momma,Uncertainty is the only thing I am certain of...I have learned since leaving Verus that even in the face of grave danger, the heart is still capable of love, and that love comes in an infinite supply, in all manner of shapes and shades.I have come to understand that even as the walls close around me and the stars seem to shine less brightly in the night sky, life continues moving forward, and I must continue following the path I have chosen... or choose to be left behind. My power lies firmly in my own hands.Oh, and I've come to the conclusion that being a Chosen One is a steaming pile of horseshit, and if a person is to be 'blessed' without their consent, it should godsdamn well be served with a heaping side dish of clairvoyance. At least the sex is good.Your Daughter,Eira (The Assigned but Aggravated Obligate of Solnna)Postscriptum: When next we meet, you owe me an explanation of the missing details of my life... and a hug. I miss you.

Life is hard. While most people try to convince you that everything will work out for the best and there is no use in 'crying over spilt milk, ' I urge you to reconsider these notions. Yes, life is messy; yes, sometimes, circumstances seem out of our control. However, there is significant power in how we respond not only to external forces but to internal forces, too. Oftentimes, mindfulness is used to describe a deliberate act of being and living in the moment. In other words, it may be referred to as a process that seeks to 'tune out' the societal chaos slowly undermining your happiness and sense of identity (who you really are or who you are meant to be). Embracing your individuality may be the first step to more peaceful and fulfilling life experiences. Mindfulness Life Hacks is an explorative book of poetry that contemplates some of life's most difficult quandaries, such as understanding purpose, experiencing love and heartbreak, and finding and/or embracing faith. For some, this faith is an inner life force. For others, it is the vastness of the universe. For me, it is God. This poetry collection will provide self-reflective and personal growth opportunities regardless of your spiritual journey.
Rose is a 33-year-old single mother of three-13-year-old fraternal twins, Nia and Gabe and ten-year-old Zuri. Rose was in the process of getting her bachelor's degree in business administration in her third year while working in her school's career services department. Rose could see the light at the end of the tunnel. She only had six months left of school and was finally on her way to financial stability. The morning of May 28, 2013 started out as a regular day for Rose. She went to work and had a productive day. Nothing seemed out of the ordinary. After work that day, everything changed, and Rose found herself on a long, uphill battle with doctors to get them to listen to her and help her get a diagnosis. With no luck from her doctors, Rose knew she had to take things into her own hands and began her own research and advocate for herself.
