Written in poetic form in the style of "A Visit From St. Nick", Christmas Chaos! is a humorous story of a family with 3 unruly boys who have a less-than-fortunate run in with Santa Claus. This is a fully illustrated, Christian Children's book which reminds us that we have Christmas because of Jesus, that He was born and died to save us. It teaches also the need and importance of forgiveness. The book's delightful illustrations were drawn by Kelly Riddle except for the back cover drawn by Mark Peyron. Color was added by Mary Bibb Smith and the author, Deborah Aubrey-Peyron.
This book is intended to give a Sampling of the stories in the three Miraculous Interventions(TM) Books: "Miraculous Interventions(TM)", "Miraculous Interventions(TM)II: Prielst, Prophets, Pastors and Everday Visionaries" and "Miraculous Interventions(TM)III: 2012 the Miraculous Year" as well as Deborah Aubrey-Peyrons children's picture book, "Christmas Chaos!" and is intended for wholesalers' to review for considering carrying these books, but itself is not intended for retail sale. Now, as a description of the stories: "In the beginning." Such a simple way to start a story. God saw fit to start His Holy Bible with it. The meaning of the phrase showed God in the mix from the very start. The same with Mary, my best friend and publisher, and my story. How was I ever to know that when angels walked me to the back yard of an estate sale 150 miles from my home, finding an 1863 German print of Heilige Nacht (Holy Night), the Nativity on the bottom of an old abandoned bread rack, that this was just the first leg of a journey that would span almost 17 years. My story, recorded in the book, "Miraculous Interventions(TM)", and the rest became history as we soon published a second book together called "Christmas Chaos!" I thought surely after that we were done with all this. Ha! We were just getting started. Amazing people started dropping into my path. Stories abounded from everywhere. The next book was not so much about me and my path but about theirs. From ministers and priests, to everyday visionaries, they all came forward to boldly tell their stories so I could tell their miraculous walks of faith. We have come to realize and believe that our story is meant for more than just us and even this area. All we have ever done, all our gifts and talents, all that we have seen is now being employed for God's Holy purpose. Together we are writing the continuing "Acts of the Apostles" to encourage the brethren and inspire the secular world. I have come to realize and believe that our stories are meant for more than just us and even this area.
Someone recently said, you have just as much of Jesus as you want. For Dennis Murphy, that amount is high! For this reason the Lord has blessed him with the ability to see what others do not - to see Him at Mass - many times, during communion, and in dreams. The Host comes alive for him with color, visions and insight! Dennis is a humble man living with extraordinary gifts. This book was written so that all he's seen has been documented. -- Deborah Aubrey-Peyron, Editor-in-Chief
This world has always been a place of wonder. People are born and die for many reasons even though most of us never really find out, in this life, what those reasons are. But for each person born, there is an ancient plan that is in place. Hidden within the pages of this story is one man's part in this eternal plan. His journey is one that will take him through battles of the mind and heart as well as the physical realm. Battles which lead to his salvation and peace with the world around him and with himself.
He's been steeped in the law. Can he possibly trust this Galilean who claims to fulfill the law? What is the truth? First-century Nicodemus likes his predictable, steady life-study the law, teach the law, practice the law. He bristles at the very mention of Jesus' name. But his life is about to radically change when he journeys to Galilee where he suffers a devastating injury, only to be rescued by a dirty, smelly shepherd. How humiliating! Will this encounter become the very tool God will use to open Nicodemus' heart to the truth? After a night-time conversation with the healer, Nicodemus must decide if he will dare to venture further into the unknown or stay in his Pharisaic world. ...everyone who exalts himself will be humbled... Luke 18:14 A Heart for Truth is the behind-the-scenes story of Nicodemus, another Bible character in this series of Unlikely Believers.
God has revealed Himself as an aesthetic God of exquisite beauty - through fields and flowers, mountains and streams, white water rapids and crystal cataracts, rainbows and sunsets, cloud formations by day and starry heavens by night, through morning sunbeams and evening moonlight. The human soul by nature resonates with beauty because it is incurably hungry for God. With the stroke of an artist's brush, the author of this volume has dressed Christian truth with charming beauty, adorning exquisite concepts with God's own elegance. She can paint a picture with her words. She can help you visualize her flower gardens and the countryside she knows and loves so well. Her words will inspire your soul. I challenge each one of you who reads her book, His Beauty Unveiled, to allow yourself to find a quiet place, and bathe yourself in the Holy Presence of God. Enjoy the compilation of these beautiful love letters written in poetic meter: Anita's very own rhythmic verses inspired by God, autographed by the One she has loved and knows well, the Divine signature of her Saviour.

The author, an alcoholic in recovery for the past 34 years, recounts her life growing up in a family of alcoholics, her two marriages to alcoholics and then succumbing herself to the lure of alcohol. Her work demonstrates how alcohol wreaks its devastation on the lives of everyone surrounding the alcoholic. Nancy A. Parsons speaks from her own point of view from a small child growing to adulthood, her married life with her alcoholic husbands, her own life as an alcoholic and finally, her escape, with God's very real grace and the help of Alcoholics Anonymous. "I wrote this book to give someone on path of the trials and tribulations of an alcoholic destruction the courage and strength to turn aside from that path to healing and wholeness. Life becomes difficult, or even impossible in some cases. You have to swallow your pride and go for help. We are in a drug oriented world today. Our children are affected by our behavior, and by our choices. If you need help or love an alcoholic and just do not know where to turn, there is help out there."
Some struggle with finding practical meaning in God's Word, and many give up in their attempt to incorporate Scripture in their daily lives. By sharing his own daily reflections, the author hopes to help seekers discover the living message of God's wisdom available to those who want to journey through God's Word in a way that enriches their lives.
