When Sandra Shackelford heard this plea, she embarked on a decades-long project to preserve and dignify the loves, losses, and customs of the Hmong people who began immigrating to Green Bay, Wisconsin in the 1970s.In this unique collection of interviews, photographs, and folktales, Shackelford- along with interpreter May Lee Lor and translator Ma Lee Lor-captures the words of Hmong people who fled their homes to escape The Secret War in Laos. Many trekked through jungles without food, water, or shelter. Many lost family members along the way. All struggled to survive and sustain their traditions. Intimate and compelling, this historic collection gives words to the grief Hmong refugees carried as they resettled in America- and the courage they found to persevere.

Is this just another devotional?Well, it can be... Or it can be so much more.In volume 1 of Fifty Words of Encouragement Just for You, Pastor Ken says, "These words are to be considered by the reader as 'so much more.'"From the inception of this first volume, each of the words presented arewith the conviction that some aspect of each word was tailor-made foryou, the reader.Hence, the phrase "just for you" is so much more than a generalization. Please allow yourself to embrace the notion that our loving, heavenlyFather is pointedly speaking to encourage you or someone close to you.Psalm 107:20 says, "He sent his word to heal us and rescue us from ourdestruction."So, beloved, be encouraged in your heart and carefully ponder the variouslayers of thought and the potential impact of each word in your life.As always, in His love, Pastor Ken Reed

This book will not serve its intended purpose unless we accept that we have been planted from the same seed. If we can agree that all of us originated first from the soil and blossomed into humans. The original seed was provided by God, if you believe there is a God, otherwise this will be: so many useless words. We are told that God formed man from the soil and gave life by breathing life into him. He then made woman by taking a rib from the man and made woman. You know the story, the original First Family. Imagine if you will, a genealogy tree large enough to have every person who ever lived, was a leaf on a branch of that tree of humanity. You and I are on that tree. I believe that an honest person can see the logic so far must agree that we are all related cousins at least. In order to understand what this means, when you hear or read about someone's tree, that has been changed do to the element in which the live, and the things that separate us, name, color, etc., upon a closer examination of the root, you will note that we come from the same root system that originated from the first seed. The above is not designed to convince you to read my first book "Blood Bath In Jasper County, Mississippi where you will meet the amazing Cruise family, with their patriarch, James (Jim) Cruise, a man born a slave, who could read, write, and count money, who while a slave, was paid by his cousin/slave owner to work as a house carpenter, you will now realize that you are reading about your cousin, and our family story. All of us have our own "close family story", Our story, yours and mine is continuing in this book, and the final chapter will be released in January 2024, if the Lord says so.

On earth today, many Christians and humanity have now reached a stage where they must make a shift into the next level of their consciousness to enable them to communicate with Jesus Christ through prayer, meditation, and fasting to receive the baptism of the holy spirit to complete their rapture or ascension. In this book, The Great Mission of Jesus Christ, John Entsuah explains the most important key points. The first key point are the hidden teachings of Jesus Christ, which is also known as the spiritual gospel of Jesus Christ, where many teachings of Jesus Christ were rejected by the Christian council organized by King Constantine during his reign as the Roman emperor in the second century. The second key point is the great mission of Jesus Christ, where he came to give humanity the power of the Holy Spirit to awaken their Christ consciousness to conquer sin and death. In the third key point, John Entsuah explains the second coming of Christ, which is about Christ conception and Christ-consciousness awakening in theheart of every soul on earth through prayer, meditation, and fasting to connect directly with Jesus Christ to receive the atonement power as the grace.Last of all, he explains that the human consciousness separates us from God because of the spiritual fall of Adam and Eve caused by Satan.Christ consciousness reconnects us back to God through Jesus Christ by receiving the atonement power through the baptism of the Holy Spirit and thelight of Christ in the heart of our souls. This is transforms us all into Christ like beings with Christ body, Christ blood, and Christ consciousness to inherit the kingdom of God.

Alfie at Soca Farm was created to help kids learn the sounds of different animals, as well as the days of the week, using the genre of soca music. "Soca" refers to a genre of music that is derived from "soul calypso," or calypso music. It creates a lively and energetic sound with infectious rhythms, driven by instruments, such as drums and steel pans that are a central element that gets people moving. The lyrics of soca songs often focus on joy, celebration, and a festive atmosphere. Soca music is particularly popular in the Caribbean. It has also gained international recognition and is enjoyed by audiences around the world. Learning animal sounds enhances language skills in preschoolers by introducing them to new vocabulary. They associate specific sounds with corresponding animals. This contributes to language acquisition and pronunciation. Recognizing and imitating animal sounds encourages memory recall which is crucial for the overall development of a child's brain. This multi-sensory experience also enhances their overall perception and understanding of the world around them. Enjoy learning with Alfie!
