For all her life, Joanne was a language teacher and had always had a deep love for words and expressed them elaborately. After a few months of inexplicable behavior the diagnosis was clear. As Alzheimer's took its toll on her life, the words in her heart slowly deteriorated, and she was eventually admitted to a clinic without a discharge date. Her faithful husband, Sakkie, taught her to declare God's words over her life and mind. Together they discovered how powerful a few words and creativity could be to counter the symptoms of dementia as her memories were restored. Forget not my words captures the true story and journey, recovery, and the road of faith walked by two beautiful hearts, lovinge ach other and trusting God in overcoming the greatest fear any human ever has to face: forgetting. Despite the heaviness of the disease, this story casts hope and joy on the subject and will help families have a different response and perspective to Alzheimer's.

Late Reggae musician, Lucky Dube is without doubt one of South Africa's iconic stars who left a legacy of love, tolerance and change through his music. His words were weapons fighting racial discrimination, fighting inequality, fighting all sorts of injustice demons in the world, awakening the spiritual and cultural heritage of the people of Africa While most fans are familiar with the performer, very few got to know the man behind the music, humble, deeply spiritual, courageous, respectful, wise and prophetic. Walking a Mile in Your Shoes My Spiritual Journey with Lucky Dube is Lenah Mochoele's tribute to her friend and spiritual mentor. Through her book 'Walking a mile in your Shoes' Lenah Mochoele gives an account, a spiritual journey of South African born world famous reggae star and hit maker Lucky Dube. His rise from a simple rural life is told in spiritual anecdotes that cast a different light to the straight talking reggae luminary. The life of Lucky Dube is presented through a lens that gives the reader an insight into why the singer, composer, producer's music dwelt on the suffering and the plight of the poor, against human rights abuse, as part of his chosen subjects. This aspect of Lucky Dube is veritably brought onto the spotlight years after his passing away in the hands of criminals, a terrible crime that almost threatened to dwarf the legacy of this achiever, messenger and musician par excellence. The book shares stories of Lucky's early life, the severe struggles and hardship of his youth, through to his deeply philosophical years which manifested in his music that stood for peace and change wherever he went. His songs continue to reverberate throughout every corridor of our households, our dusty streets and throughout every length and breadth of Africa, the diaspora and beyond. At a spiritual level, this book is a wonderful and powerful reminder to rekindle one's own connection and relationship with God to live with Him and not renounce Him.
The honest to God truth about Spudwell Midgely gives you a real life peek into life's impossibilities, that can be achieved if you really set your mind to it, in an extremely mischievous way that is... Growing up, was in most instances every other little boy to young man's dream... provided their parents never found out - of course! I suppose at the end of it all, you could paint me lucky, but having said that, I have had my fair share of shortfalls... but this book is not about those. This book in hindsight, should leave you grinning like a Cheshire cat and probably feeling good about yourself. The reason I say that, is because somewhere down the line growing up, you must have experienced at least one of my 'encounters'. So, if you are in a mood to giggle and laugh and maybe in need of some overdue reminiscing, kick off your shoes, get comfortable and enjoy "The honest to God truth about Spudwell Midgely"! Please note, my book gets a tad saucy and straight to the point - so to speak in some chapters.. So if you are offended, please feel free to skip that part and turn the page... because it gets worse!!! You have been warned. Enjoy.

So many people are unaware that they have an invisible 'magnet' that creates the attraction they feel between each other. A force so strong that it will, at times, override your intuition, your common sense, and your voice of reason. For 18 years my 'invisible magnet' kept attracting the same types of people into my life. My relationships were disempowering, abusive and at times violent. It was only when I became aware that my own personal magnetism was creating this vicious cycle, that I was able to change it. Not only did I attract the perfect partner for me into my life, but as a consequence, all my relationships changed for the better, every single one of them! My relationship with my children, my family, my extended family, my friends, and my colleagues. Although this book is about breaking the cycle of abusive relationships, the formula I used can be used to change your own personal magnetism to change, attract, or effect any relationship. After experiencing bullying, domestic abuse, a stalker, two divorces, one annulment, two broken engagements and other failed relationships and trauma, I can honestly say that I am now at peace and I am blissfully happy. My life today with my husband, of 11 years, and our beautiful big, blended family is one of fun, laughter, and joy. This book will show you how I did it. If I can do it so can you.
