Washington and Oregon are often thought of as a wet green area, and indeed, a lot of it is. After all, Washington is known as the Evergreen State. However, a large part of the area lying east of the Cascade Range is desert or near desert, albeit much of that area is irrigated for agricultural purposes. East of the Cascades takes the reader on a photographic journey through that region in a county-by-county manner. The journey starts in the Columbia River Gorge then heads north to the Canadian border then back south, eventually landing in the southeastern corner of Washington. Crossing into Oregon, the travel path works its way west to the Cascades then south and east, ending in Malheur County in southeastern Oregon. Several photographs from each county traversed are included. Brief historical facts and other information of interest for each county are included with each set of county photographs. While not intended to be a travel guide, the book gives the reader a feeling for the sights and terrain to be seen throughout eastern and central Washington and Oregon.

In a world that is increasingly being aware, in a political and cultural sense, of issues surrounding marginalised communities, this book gives a riveting account of the history, culture and politics of the Olukumi people, a marginalised Yoruba community unlike others that had hitherto been the subject of mainstream literature and debates. The Olukumi people are a bilingual (both Yoruba and Ibo) and sophisticated Black African community who were the first humans to inhabit their indigenous homeland but continue to be marginalised and discriminated by the majority newly arrived neighbours. The community practiced female to female marriages long before minority rights (like the LGBTQIA+ rights) came to be recognised even in so-called advanced Western countries like America and in Europe. It is because the Olukumis face appalling discrimination and deprivation at home that they continue to migrate. Yet, their culture of respect for minorities and tolerance for diverse opinions still survive. This book is about war and diplomacy. It is also about migration and settlement as well as a people's determination for survival and coexistence. It is told from an exclusively Olukumi perspective and written by an Olukumi indigene.

My memoir begins with a massive heart attack that leaves me in a vegetative state with no possibility of recovery, according to my doctors. What the doctors didn't know about me was I neither counted anyone in nor counted anyone out--especially me.I lived my life overcoming multitudinous challenges, living by the adage "All I need is a tiny chance, and I'll make it work." My story is delivered from a 5'4" frame, being constantly told "I can't" or "you won't." I was a make-believe Christian with the gift of gab and full of crime. This memoir shines a light on alcoholism, drug abuse, physical abuse, ever-present crime, and consistently circumventing all challenges.

This book covers many questions about how we as a country got to Black American racism. As I found more and more answers, I realized how many of them were totally new to me and how I felt that I had been so deceived about so much of our history. After talking to many people, Black and white, I knew that it wasn't just me who had been deceived. There is so much that has been done to Black Americans over the ages, not just slavery, that I felt everyone could understand better if various truths were revealed. One Black young man I discussed this with seemed to visibly feel better about himself just hearing some of these basic truths.Eugenics, I believe, was worse than slavery. Eugenics founder, Galton, was a first cousin to Charles Darwin. This was all related to Malthus, who decided in 1795 that overpopulation was a dire emergency. Eugenics was the answer to who should be allowed to live or reproduce in order to keep the world population down. The geologic timetable, evolution, overpopulation, and eugenics all came about in the early 1800s before any carbon dating. Who is still pushing this, and how does it all relate to American racism?

When thinking about poetry, we think of the old poets we had to study in school. While poetry has developed throughout the years, it still has the same meaning: to express feelings or experiences in a creative way. For some, it's the only way to express themselves. While at times they can be confusing, if you really listen to what the words are saying, you should understand the meaning.

This is the story of Yvonne Wilson, an accountant, and Oliver, a grossly overweight black-and-white tuxedo cat. Yvonne witnesses an execution-style murder of three people. The mob has hired MS-13 gang members to expedite the matter. After believing that she is in a hopeless dilemma, Yvonne notices a huge black-and-white tuxedo cat that has just appeared in her living room. He is a talking cat named Oliver. Oliver explains that he was sent from heaven to protect Yvonne from the MS-13 gang members and the mob. He assures her that the mob/MS-13 cannot harm her. He will protect her until she dies a natural death.Yvonne soon realizes that Oliver can back up what he says. He has supernatural powers. He is omniscient (all-knowing), omnipotent (all-powerful), omnipresent (can be in more than one place at the same time), and clairvoyant (can see into the future). Oliver is here for the duration. He will never leave her. After a while, Yvonne and Oliver grow on each other. They become inseparable. The story is full of love, and there is a human and feline bonding. Yvonne often shoots it out with MS-13 gang members and mobsters. Although close to a deity, Oliver does have some faults. He is always on a thin line between being a law officer and an outlaw. After he becomes an FBI agent, he takes some of his salary and donates the rest to charity. When he is short of cash, he prints $100 bills in Yvonne's basement. Since the bills are real, he can't be accused of counterfeiting.

This book shows the automatic, spontaneous, intelligent design from a feedback loop between the right hemisphere matching by form and the resulting sacred fractal geometry of self-similar sexual mimicry in the four-dimensional human body. He shows how this is done through the ASMR and thrill intelligence. The "missing link" is no longer missing! His book is a magnum opus on the alchemy of this subject.

I've been told that this work, The Light of Life, is a very timely and meaningful piece of work, giving the reader something to reflect on and think about, with poignant reminders of time and change and sharp feelings of regret, as the term itself invokes a spiritual connection and reasoning. One might ask oneself: "Who puts the light in life?" "Where do we find knowledge, understanding, and wisdom, as light is knowledge and darkness is ignorance?" We slow life down when sharing our words and thoughts through our emotions and feelings in the light our Creator made and gave to the system of this world. For if one never talks about the light, who then will know about it? That there is light in everything we experience and find our way through and no matter how much darkness we endure, it will never overpower the light, as seen in Christ, the blessed light of life.
