The gloaming is near. I hear the tinkling sound of the creek and the song of the katydids as they serenade the end of the day. Suddenly I panic! What happens when it's dark and I can't see? "You two boys are the last of a dying breed! Folks in this country are getting way too civilized." Sheriff Dorcey Britt-April 10, 1949 "Ain't nobody can help ya'! Cause yo're dead.....Ya' hear me? Yo're dead!" Donkey Bill - April 9, 1949 "Run, Boogie, run...RUN RUN!!!" Trapper trap - April 9, 1949 "Suspense! Murder! Sex and romance! Written with a sprinkling of humor. This book has it all! It's going to be an awesome film." - Stephen Hunt, Film Director Hunt Group Productions "Tom Sawyer and Huck Finn meet Deliverance! Brilliant, Gripping, a must read, I could not put it down. Characters and settings are so realistic you feel you're really there. It's "Old time American Justice" at its best. I can't wait for the movie." - Bill Knopke - Actor -Producer
Jeff Mangrum was born in Nashville, Tennessee in March of 1966, and was raised in farm country. He is a veteran of the U.S. Navy, with an Honorable Discharge. He is a graduate of the University of Florida and is a member of the Church of Christ. Jeff has been married to Tricia Lyn for eleven wonderful years and is blessed by three healthy children; Hunter, Amber, and Noah! All three are intelligent, compassionate and Bible-educated. He currently resides and works in Sarasota, Florida and works with Tricia for Chick-fil-A. He spends his leisure time with the family boating up and down the Gulf Intracoastal Waterway and visiting the Keys annually. In the past, he participated in five marathons. He finds that maintaining his three acre yard is extremely therapeutic and his 80 x 120-foot pond stocked with bass, tilapia and bluegill is great for teaching the children how to fish. His meditation area is in a separate area of the yard with a Cross, Flowers and chairs. He incorporated this special place into his life because of two back surgeries and operations on both knees. Thus the transition from running marathons to meditation, which is much easier on the body.
