Digital technologies are revolutionizing global economy, modes of production and consumption, at individual and collective levels. Nevertheless, involved socio-economic models can be often incompatible with major challenges faced by humanity, notably environmental crisis and climate change that warn about the end of a linear growth model which aimed at "produce, consume and throw away", in order to move towards an economic development that tends to limit the waste of resources and environmental impact. For that purpose, innovation should be responsible and at the service of a more sustainable development.This apparent contradiction between digital production forces and bio-climatic issues can be questioned by the emergence of innovation ecosystems. This volume honours Federica Scarpa, a prominent figure in Translation Studies who has made a major contribution to defining, describing and researching specialised translation. In her body of research, Scarpa has successfully combined insights from a variety of approaches, from functional theories to the cultural turn and, more recently, profession-related aspects. Her approach to the study of specialised translation considers multiple dimensions (discoursal, pragmatic and service-related) and builds an organic model capable of accommodating context-based quality criteria and advances in technology. The chapters collected in the volume develop some of Scarpa's ideas and have been authored by scholars and professionals who have established a direct dialogue with Scarpa or benefited from her insights.

This book presents a critical edition of a collection of liturgical manuscripts that theAugustinian friar Onofrio Panvinio (1530¿1568) assembled in the 1560s for the CardinalAlessandro Farnese as well as for Hans Jakob Fugger in Augsburg. Onofrio Panvinio isprimarily known for his antiquarian studies about ancient Rome and for his editionof Bartolomeo Platinäs Lives of the Popes. His preoccupation with the Roman rite,however, remains until today largely unnoticed by modern scholarship. This editionof Panvinio¿s Vetusti aliquot rituales libri highlights his interests in the developmentof Roman liturgy during the last sessions of the Council of Trent (1545¿1563) by presentingthe various documentary as well as cultural layers of Panvinio¿s collection ofRoman ritual manuscripts.
