Diabetes Mellitus is one of the most common metabolic disease having serious health implications. Diabetic neuropathy is the most common complication of both type 1 and type 2 diabetes. Patients with diabetic neuropathy experience symptoms of burning sensations, prickling feelings, numbness, and paraesthesia while in 50% of cases it is asymptomatic. Sensorimotor training can be used as a global approach for balance exercise in such patients.

The celebration of Mawlid an-Nabawi (birthday of Allah's Messenger) is celebrated on the day the Prophet passed away (i.e., 12th of Rabie al-Awwal). The birth-day of the Prophet as proven by the almanac is 9th Rabie al-Awwal. Ironically, only a few years ago the celebration was called, 'Bara Wafaat' (i.e., 12th - the day of death), but recently it was renamed, 'Eid Milad' (the celebration of Milad/Mawlid) or Mawlid an-Nabawi.Some (of those who celebrate Mawlid an-Nabawi) believe that the Messenger of Allah visits (the celebrations of) Mawlid. They also stand to greet and welcome the Prophet. This is the greatest falsehood and worst form of ignorance because the Prophet shall never come out of his grave before the Day of Resurrection. He will neither meet/make contact with any person nor attend their gatherings.

God gave us all minds and intellects to enable us to make this crucial decision. It is the most important decision in the life of a human being. Upon it depends his future. Consequently, each and every one of us must examine dispassionately the evidence presented, and choose whatappears to be right until further evidence arises.

The phenomenon of weak faith has become very widespread among Muslims, and many people complain about the hardness of their hearts. So often we hear the words, "I feel hardness in my heart," "I do not find any joy in worship," "I feel that my faith has hit rock bottom," "Reading Qur'aan does not move me," "I fall into sin so easily." The effects of this affliction can be seen in many people, and this problem is the cause of every disaster and adversity.

Low back pain is a common problem faced by an expecting mother in the initial days. Pregnancy is a stage of womanhood where she undergoes physiological changes, musculoskeletal changes, biomechanical changes, etc. The musculoskeletal changes in the body are changes in posture due to protruding abdomen, laxity of the ligaments due to hormones. The hormonal changes during pregnancy mainly relaxin leads to laxity of the joints around the lumbar region and pelvis. Low back pain is more experienced during the second trimester resulting in reduced ability to perform functional activities which may further worsen. Acetaminophen was the medical drug prescribed to reduce pain. Various treatment methods like physiotherapy, acupuncture, and aerobics can be given to relieve pain. Yoga helps to ease the low back pain and attain good posture while standing and sitting. Postures in yoga have benefits of strengthening and also correcting the balance and body posture. The low back pain treated in the second trimester has its continued effect onto the third trimester and post-delivery phase also.

During pregnancy musculoskeletal disorders are common and cause problems ranging from mild discomfort to serious disability. Some of these conditions include low back pain involving the lumbosacral spine and sacroiliac joints, carpal tunnel syndrome and leg cramps. Presence of these anatomical and physiological changes with or without the presence of musculoskeletal disorders can result into alteration of walking pattern. Altered gait pattern may subsequently alter the biomechanics and may worsen the discomforts and disabilities as a result of vicious cycle.

Chronic Low back pain (CLBP) adversely affects health-related quality of life in nursing professionals. Yoga has positive impact on LBP. Studies assessing the effects of Yoga on CLBP in nursing population are lacking. Present book evaluates and compares the effect of integrated Yoga and physical exercises on pain, disability, psychological parameters and quality of life in nurses with CLBP.

In addition to structural changes, there are significant sensorimotor proprioceptive disturbances in the cervical spine that might be an importantfactor in the maintenance, recurrence, or progression of various symptoms in patients with Cervical Spondylosis . Therefore, there is a need to find out the effectiveness of kinaesthetic rehabilitation exercises on proprioception in patients with Cervical Spondylosis.

The present work in this book consists of Synthesis, Characterization and the Applications of newly synthesized Carboxymethyl cellulose based Hydrogels.
