Dorothy Thompson White feels her story for teenagers is so interesting because it is unique. Furthermore, she believes no other teenager in the world has had these unusual experiences, because no father was like her own. In this story, White shows that only money can spoil children, as she was never spoiled since she was easy to please and had several other talents that gave her much joy, including being an honor student.About the AuthorBoth the author Dorothy Thompson White and her homeroom English teacher Mrs. Eunice Weeks believed she was born to write. When Mrs. Weeks graded the themes she assigned, White was given a perfect score each time. Her parents taught her a wide vocabulary when she was only six months old, as she was the child they waited nine years for and thus spent much time with her.
Author Dorothy Thompson White is elated to be the author of these short stories for children. Only one of her stories, The Outgoing Octopus, is fiction. The others, Twitty Chose Jenny and The Faithful Church Cat, are true stories. White believes that children especially will enjoy these stories because they prove just how amusing animals truly are, because of their close bond with humans.About the AuthorDorothy Thompson White was born on October 7, 1935, in the small town of Guin, Alabama. White enjoyed an entire school life of both singing and writing. White's high school English and home-room teacher discovered her writing talent and said her writing was as good as her singing. She gave Dorothy perfect 100s on all her themes she wrote. Many people told her she should go to New York City and become a Broadway star, however her young love for her steady boyfriend for three school years caused her to marry him after graduation in 1954 and move to Birmingham, Alabama, where he lived and worked. He died in 1975 leaving White a young widow at thirty-nine years old. In 1981, White married a man from Kentucky who died in 2003. She then moved back to her hometown of Guin, Alabama. In 2014 she married one more man who died in 2016. That's when White said, "I don't want to marry again no matter how good they are. I am now eighty-one years old and I am going to become an author as soon as possible." White had written a fiction story in 1996 while living in Kentucky titled, The Outgoing Octopus. Twitty Chose Jenny and The Faithful Church Cat were written in 2016.

She earned her medical degree from Cornell University Medical College. Dr. Frissora has always been an avid reader and was fascinated by Ernest Hemingway's use of prose in his work. He cut words, sliced sentences, and left a lot for the readers to fill in on their own. Being a talented writer, her professors made her promise to continue writing. "You have to keep writing - you have so much to say." Later, other talented professors were struck by the author's ability to capture an experience: "I feel like I was there." "I felt my hand on his heart." "That gave me chills." Poetry sometimes motivates people to change their behavior. It can be used as a visualization tool for high stress situations - such as handling medical emergencies (A Great Win) or to enhance sports performance (Champions). Dr. Frissora covers a wide range of topics from beauty and sadness, to the trivial heartbreak of a tough loss in a match. She provides basic tools so that you can write your own poetry for your family or just for yourself. The poems come to the author in complete vignettes, but every writer is different. A Faith Builder for Children is interactive. There are exercises, tests, discussion starters, and opportunities for creative writing. There is also a section on proper manners. The author prays that everyone who reads this book will be blessed. "If the Lord had not been on our side, they would have swallowed us up [destroyed]." That statement was made by the Israelites in Psalm 124:1-3. The statement is relevant to Katherine W. Fisher's life. Fisher's good and growing faith sustained her in the serious tragedies and difficulties which she has experienced in her life. You can build a strong faith too! God said that He will not leave us or forsake us (Hebrews 13:5). This is a faithful saying and promise. Fisher wrote A Faith Builder for Children because she feels deeply that it will help to build in youth a strong faith and trust in God. Life's storms are not always in the forecast. We need a solid foundation of faith so that we will not be thrown off base and become despondent, depressed and discouraged. We could just give up. This book should help to keep you grounded and on track in adversity and difficulty.About the AuthorKatherine W. Fisher is a native of the state of West Virginia. She was married to the late Archie L. Fisher of Hamlet, North Carolina. From that union two lovely daughters were born: Lynn and Lejuene. Both are adults and both are dedicated Christians. The writer has been involved in a jail ministry for 15+ years in Valdosta, Georgia, where she resides. With the help of Frank Baldwin, a fellow congregant, they have brought 50+ jail inmates to Jesus Christ. Fisher would be totally remiss if she did not mention Frank Baldwin's name and give him the credit due to him. Also, Fisher is currently involved in a ministry at the homeless shelter in Valdosta. She will go where God leads her.

"Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light." (Mathew 11:28-30). This is one of the most popular Bible verses being read to all Christians who are burdened by injustice, heartaches, misery, and other things that afflict anyone's mind, body, and soul. Without a doubt, it's an assurance that God will always be there to ease a person's pain by any means so that he or she would carry on and feel blessed while in service of the Lord as has been reflected in the life of Y. Guide. Guide suffered so much grief when she lost her son in an accident, her daughter in sickness, and her parents through natural causes. Her life would have been shattered beyond repair were it not for her undying faith in God. This book was written by divine inspiration that came through a dream. The dream was an answer to a need in the life of the author. It was proof that dreams can be relevant and address the daily lives, wants, needs and fears of anyone. For this reason, the author believes it is important to pay attention to dreams. Shortly after the dream the author, who had never written poetry, discovered this new ability. To test this newly discovered talent, the author randomly chose various mundane subjects to write about and found that he could turn any subject into a poem. Then he began to use Bible verses as inspiration and made them the main focus of his poetry. That was when he discovered the reason for his poetry. His former wife, who passed away several years ago, was in need of encouragement and comfort, so most of the poetry was written to her.About the AuthorThe author was born and raised in Atlantic City, New Jersey. He came from a very modest family of very humble means. After graduating from high school, the author enlisted in the United States Marine Corps for four years. After receiving an honorable discharge, he enrolled in college full time. Before graduating, the author left school and became a New Jersey State Trooper. During his career, he went back to school and received his degree in Criminal Justice. After serving twenty-eight very rewarding years, he retired. Shortly thereafter, he began to write poetry. He still lives in New Jersey with his lovely new wife, who encouraged him to publish his poetry. Both he and his wife enjoy traveling and fine dining. The author is still writing poetry and plans to write more books. He is a Bible teacher and pastoral elder at his church. He is also an avid fisherman and dedicated physical fitness enthusiast.
Because author Pat Schell understood that we create our own life situations through our very thoughts, she began to probe and search for tools that would allow her to get very clear on this life process. Therein lies the story behind the book itself: how we implement spiritual tools into our daily lives. She knew that opposites MUST exist in order to move forward and make a life passionate and fulfilled. For how else can we distinguish between what is "GOOD" from what is "BAD"? More importantly, Pat asked the question: "What is MY PURPOSE in this lifetime?" She came to find out that everyone has the opportunity to choose. We choose our friends, choose our profession, choose our place on this planet that we feel comfortable residing, and, yes, we even choose those we love and those that we don't! And, for EACH AND EVERY choice, we are held ACCOUNTABLE! Pat has been a truth seeker for many years. Circus of the Mind puts an eerie new twist on the classic horror scene. It takes you to the abandoned fairgrounds of Ferrels' Fair where a spiritually possessed, mentally torn, psychotic, killer clown and a woman who discovers her powerful, paranormal psychic abilities go on a vengeful killing spree, all the while unknowingly protecting the young, good hearted Marcus Ferrel and his family's land from Edgar Sneed, an evil, power hungry man, and his corrupt group of law enforcement of the town Willows Brook. A new face for coulrophobics and the horror genre, there is no other book out there like this one. It is a true battle between good and evil. All of us have that doorway between reality and the unknown. Circus of the Mind gives a glimpse into that doorway. About the Author Vincent Van Winkle, author and illustrator of Circus of the Mind, was born and raised in Tennessee. He is a multi-skilled artist and costume maker. In research done for Skirmishes and Struggles of the Dalton Family, a lot of information was discovered not written in school history books. For example, in the Lewis and Clark Expedition, they went through the northern states. The only way they could have survived was with the help of the Native Americans there. The book begins when Henry De Beaumont, the author's 25th great-grandfather, fought in the Battle of Hastings with William the Conqueror. William endowed to be the first Earl of Warwick Castle. The Daltons came from Ireland and fought in this same battle. They were given land in England and inter-married with the Beaumonts. Eventually, the families migrated to America. The families had a mixture of outlaws and ministers. The author's great-grandfather was hung for stealing a horse. She also recalls hearing of the notorious Dalton Gang from her aunts, cousins, and uncles when they would come to visit, but at the time was unaware of the outlaw gang until years later, reading about them in history books.About the AuthorAuthor Amanda L. Dalton wants to inspire a love for history and family heritage. A few months before launching this endeavor, she heard a historian on CBS Early Show encouraging people share their family histories with their children, as it will have great relevance to future generations.
"God constantly speaks to us in some way or form. Sometimes to invite us; sometimes to comfort us; other times to encourage us, or on occasions to beseech us; but never to condemn us. I 'met' Diane Ranker Riesen during August 2015 during what was called (where I was employed at the time) the Nigerian 'rainy season.' Not in person, but through the magic of her words. After reading a number of her poems that she shared on Facebook I realized that this lady was someone special and that God uses her in a special way as an instrument of hope and love. Diane, even though she had published three books, was not yet widely known or recognized for the quality of her work as she most definitely deserves to be. I felt, and I told her, that her work deserves to be read and appreciated by millions. In this new collection of 400 poems, she again gives us a glimpse at the massive beauty that God has invested inside her heart. My wish is that God would bless many through her words and that she will continue to comfort, inspire, and encourage us with her beautiful poems for many years to come." -Coenraad Marneweck"Diane's poetry moves me, and I, too, feel FAITH, HOPE, PEACE, and PRAISE for our Heavenly Father. My soul sings when I read Diane's very deep and amazing words. Her poetry is like a 'sermon' that God has written, through Diane, who seems to have a direct line to His Power of Love for His children." -Leah PallarisAbout the Author"No one can tell me how to grieve…no one knows how I loved them." -Diane Ranker RiesenDiane Ranker Riesen lives in Tiffin, Ohio, with her husband, Mark, of forty years. They have three children: Luke Andrew, Brent Christopher, and Pamela Grace, along with their spouses, and three grandsons: Braden, Jace, and Axl! Diane has written poetry for as long as she can remember and has used it to help express her spirituality, faith, and all the emotions that we experience in life. This is her fourth book.
