Use Amazon Kinesis Data Streams to collect and process large streams of data records in real time.You'll create data-processing applications, known as Amazon Kinesis Data Streams applications. A typical Amazon Kinesis Data Streams application reads data from a Kinesis data stream as data records. These applications can use the Kinesis Client Library, and they can run on Amazon EC2 instances. The processed records can be sent to dashboards, used to generate alerts, dynamically change pricing and advertising strategies, or send data to a variety of other AWS services. Amazon WorkDocs is a fully managed, secure, enterprise storage and sharing service with strong administrative controls and feedback capabilities that improve user productivity. Your files are stored in the cloud, safely and securely. Amazon WorkDocs even includes a synchronization application that always keeps selected folders on your local computer in sync with your cloud folders. Your files are only visible to you, and your designated contributors and viewers. Other members of your organization do not have access to any of your files unless you specifically grant them access. You can share your files with other members of your organization for collaboration or review. The Amazon WorkDocs client applications can be used to view many different types of files, depending on the Internet media type of the file. Amazon WorkDocs supports all common document and image formats, and support for additional media types is constantly being added.
The AWS CLI is an open source tool built on top of the AWS SDK for Python (Boto) that provides commands for interacting with AWS services. With minimal configuration, you can start using all of the functionality provided by the AWS Management Console from your favorite terminal program.
You can use Amazon Route 53 to help you get a website or web application up and running. Route 53 performs three main functions: Register domain names - Your website needs a name, such as example.com. Route 53 lets you registera name for your website or web application, known as a domain name. For an overview, see How Domain Registration Works. Route internet traffic to the resources for your domain - When a user opens a web browser and enters your domain name in the address bar, Route 53 helps the Domain Name System (DNS) connect the browser with your website or web application. For an overview, see How Internet Traffic Is Routed to Your Website or Web Application. Check the health of your resources - Route 53 sends automated requests over the internet to a resource, such as a web server, to verify that it's reachable, available, and functional. You also can choose to receive notifications when a resource becomes unavailable and choose to route internet traffic away from unhealthy resources. For an overview, see How Amazon Route 53 Checks the Health of Your Resources. You can use any combination of these functions. For example, you can use Route 53 both to register your domain name and to route internet traffic for the domain, or you can use Route 53 to route internet traffic for a domain that you registered with another domain registrar. If you choose to use Route 53 for all three functions, you register your domain name, then configure Route 53 to route internet traffic for your domain, and finally configure Route 53 to check the health of your resources.
AWS Elemental MediaStore is a video origination and storage service that offers the high performance and immediate consistency required for live origination. With AWS Elemental MediaStore, you can manage video assets as objects in containers to build dependable, cloud-based media workflows.To use the service, you upload your objects from a source, such as an encoder or data feed, to a container that you create in AWS Elemental MediaStore.AWS Elemental MediaStore is a great choice for storing fragmented video files when you need strong consistency, low-latency reads and writes, and the ability to handle high volumes of concurrent requests.
Amazon Elastic Container Service (Amazon ECS) is a highly scalable, fast, container management service that makes it easy to run, stop, and manage Docker containers on a cluster. You can host your cluster on a serverless infrastructure that is managed by Amazon ECS by launching your services or tasks using the Fargate launch type. For more control you can host your tasks on a cluster of Amazon Elastic Compute Cloud (Amazon EC2) instances that you manage by using the EC2 launch type. For more information about launch types, see Amazon ECS Launch Types.Amazon ECS lets you launch and stop container-based applications with simple API calls, allows you to get the state of your cluster from a centralized service, and gives you access to many familiar Amazon EC2 features.You can use Amazon ECS to schedule the placement of containers across your cluster based on your resource needs, isolation policies, and availability requirements. Amazon ECS eliminates the need for you to operate your own cluster management and configuration management systems or worry about scaling your management infrastructure.Amazon ECS can be used to create a consistent deployment and build experience, manage, and scale batch and Extract-Transform-Load (ETL) workloads, and build sophisticated application architectures on a microservices model. Amazon CloudFront is a web service that speeds up distribution of your static and dynamic web content, such as .html, .css, .js, and image files, to your users. CloudFront delivers your content through a worldwide network of data centers called edge locations. When a user requests content that you're serving with CloudFront, the user is routed to the edge location that provides the lowest latency (time delay), so that content is delivered with the best possible performance.
Amazon Simple Storage Service is storage for the Internet. It is designed to make web-scale computing easier for developers. Amazon S3 has a simple web services interface that you can use to store and retrieve any amount of data, at any time, from anywhere on the web. It gives any developer access to the same highly scalable, reliable, fast, inexpensive data storage infrastructure that Amazon uses to run its own global network of web sites. The service aims to maximize benefits of scale and to pass those benefits on to developers. AWS OpsWorks is a configuration management service that helps you configure and operate applications in a cloud enterprise by using Puppet or Chef. AWS OpsWorks Stacks and AWS OpsWorks for Chef Automate let you use Chef cookbooks and solutions for configuration management, while AWS OpsWorks for Puppet Enterprise lets you configure a Puppet Enterprise master server in AWS. Puppet offers a set of tools for enforcing the desired state of your infrastructure, and automating on-demand tasks.

AWS Organizations is an account management service that enables you to consolidate multiple AWS accounts into an organization that you create and centrally manage. AWS Organizations includes consolidated billing and account management capabilities that enable you to better meet the budgetary, security, and compliance needs of your business. As an administrator of an organization, you can create accounts in your organization and invite existing accounts to join the organization. This user guide defines key concepts for AWS Organizations and explains how to use the service.
AWS Migration Hub provides a single place to discover your existing servers, plan migrations, and track the status of each application migration. The AWS Migration Hub provides visibility into your application portfolio and streamlines planning and tracking. You can see the status of the servers and databases that make up each of the applications you are migrating regardless of which migration tool you are using. AWS Migration Hub gives you the choice to start migrating right away and group servers while migration is underway, or to first discover servers and then group them into applications. Either way, you can migrate each server in an application and track progress from each tool in the AWS Migration Hub. It supports migration status updates from AWS Database Migration Service, AWS Server Migration Service, ATADATA ATAmotion, CloudEndure Live Migration, and Racemi DynaCenter.
Amazon EC2 Auto Scaling helps you ensure that you have the correct number of Amazon EC2 instances available to handle the load for your application. You create collections of EC2 instances, called Auto Scaling groups. You can specify the minimum number of instances in each Auto Scaling group, and Auto Scaling ensures that your group never goes below this size. You can specify the maximum number of instances in each Auto Scaling group, and Auto Scaling ensures that your group never goes above this size. If you specify the desired capacity, either when you create the group or at any time thereafter, Auto Scaling ensures that your group has this many instances. If you specify scaling policies, then Auto Scaling can launch or terminate instances as demand on your application increases or decreases. For example, the following Auto Scaling group has a minimum size of 1 instance, a desired capacity of 2 instances, and a maximum size of 4 instances. The scaling policies that you define adjust the number of instances, within your minimum and maximum number of instances, based on the criteria that you specify.
With Amazon Kinesis Data Analytics, you can process and analyze streaming data using standard SQL. The service enables you to quickly author and run powerful SQL code against streaming sources to perform time series analytics, feed real-time dashboards, and create real-time metrics.To get started with Kinesis Data Analytics, you create a Kinesis data analytics application that continuously reads and processes streaming data. The service supports ingesting data from Amazon Kinesis Data Streams and Amazon Kinesis Data Firehose streaming sources. Then, you author your SQL code using the interactive editor and test it with live streaming data. You can also configure destinations where you want Kinesis Data Analytics to send the results.Kinesis Data Analytics supports Amazon Kinesis Data Firehose (Amazon S3, Amazon Redshift, and Amazon Elasticsearch Service), AWS Lambda, and Amazon Kinesis Data Streams as destinations.
