As children we relied solely on our parents for guidance and instruction, not looking too far into the future when we would venture out alone, with only the knowledge and experiences taught to us by them. Whether we took note of anything would probably manifest in life after childhood and the help we would receive from family and friends along the way. Some of us may have had experiences learned from many Sundays in church and Sunday School and continued these into our adulthood, leaning on "His Everlasting Arms", being taught that "He is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble", and that we should trust in Him for "He is our eternal rock".I believe Our Lord has a sense of humour, or at least He made us with one, and so a few verses in this book are written with a little light humour, but I hope at least one of the verses contained therein will comfort, enlighten entertain or give the reader food for thought.
