Gren waited for Lawson outside of the entrance to Epcot. She had already been through security and she stood on the side. He would know where to find her. Gren had never been happier. She lived in a small apartment; it was the first time that she had ever lived on her own. Her parents helped her with the rent. She had an internship in which she was gaining valuable experience. The internship didn't pay much, so she had a part time job on the side. She also attended college online. She was busy, but somehow, she managed to keep her Mondays free. Each Monday she and Lawson would hit one of the Walt Disney World parks. Gren had an Annual Pass because her parents were Disney Vacation Club members, and she made sure that she used it. She and Lawson would also sometimes get together during the week for dinner or a movie. Things were about to change, and at the early hour she didn't want to think about it.Lawson had quickly become Gren's best friend. She felt like she had known him for her entire life. Their feelings for each other went deeper than friendship, but they were both busy and they knew that the timing wasn't right. While Gren's parents helped her out financially and emotionally, Lawson didn't have any family because he was orphaned at an early age. He worked at a local restaurant and was putting himself through college. He also had an Annual Pass, and had been able to arrange his schedule so that he could spend Mondays in the parks with Gren. When Gren saw Lawson walk through the security line she waved to get his attention. "Sorry I'm late," Lawson said as he approached her.Hurry lets get to Test Track before the lines gets too long. They sat back because the ride had started. Gren could not stop thinking about the young woman seated behind them. The news that she had to share with Lawson also weighed heavily on her mind. Her favorite part of the ride was the end, when it looked like they were about to hit a wall but instead the car went outside and sped up to 65MPH. Gren sat back to enjoy it. As they neared the fake wall, everything started to blur.

William Worm Bell Sizemore, Robert Shakers Allen, Jr., Ricky Chief Lightfoot and Farah Royal Smolinksi are eighth grade friends; with Farah the lone girl. They call themselves the Four Musketeers and have a one for all and all for one bond. According to Will's grandfather, a crusty old Navy veteran: "You four are thicker than a band of thieves."It was Will's grandfather and an early spring thunder storm complete with tornado warnings that changed the four lives forever. Will's grandfather had presented his grandson with four miniature scimitars. The ancient Middle Eastern swords resembled gold cocktail toothpicks. They were more than that. The scimitars were said to be magical, each possessing one wish for the person who held it.Robert Allen, Jr. was called Shakers by his other Musketeers because his birth was the product of an inter-racial marriage. His mother Puerto Rican and his father of Scandinavian heritage. Both were college professors. Both were killed in a drive-by shooting; mistaken targets.Ricky Lightfoot, the most cantankerous and opinionated of the four, was an Ojibwa Indian, a Lake Superior Chippewa of the Lac du Flambeau band. He was called Chief because, according to him: "You palefaces speak with forked tongue and I don't trust a one of you." Then, before his three friends could verbally attack him, he would come up with his hasty declaimer stating: "Shakers, you and Royal ain't ever gonna be pale. As for you, Worm, you ain't ever gonna be red, black or brown from sitting under a reading lamp all day and night. I can trust you."Farah Royal Smolinksi's mother was from the Middle East; presumably, Iran where it was rumored that a late female relative of hers had been married to the Shah of Iran. Therefore, according to her three male friends, she had descended from a Queen or some type of royalty. It stood to reason in the minds of Worm, Shakers and Chief that she should have a name that connotated regal status. Queenie didn't work, but Royal did. Besides, she was the smartest of the group sporting an A+ average and a phenomenal athlete; at five feet nine, a basketball player. Brains and basketball prowess weren't her only assets. She was beautiful and each of her three friends had a silent crush on her. She had a silent crush on Worm.

Let's grab the green flag and go racing! The "Oil Cup" 400; the "Crown Jewel" race in the Fast Truck Series has always been known to be one of the most competitive competitions in the Trucks Series season tour. Being the first race in the chase to the championship, tensions sometimes run high as teams strenuously work to be the one that puts their names and number in the books as the winner of the highest paying purse, and the largest trophy in the history of Stock Truck racing. From all over the globe, trucks with their teams come to qualify for a chance at the power and glory that comes with winning the 400-mile scrimmage to the checkered flag. Every year, spectators, young and old come from all corners of the world to witness one of, if not the, greatest spectacle in all of Motorsports. Time and time again, history proves that the 400 can be exceedingly challenging to trucks and teams: engines can fail, tires can falter, transmissions can go out, bodies can grow weary, and injuries from accidents will most certainly happen. Often called a race of "sheer endurance," and one that only the toughest trucks survive, seldom does the underdog set the pace for the grueling 200-lapper. Let alone, does a virtually unknown beat the top teams and secure themselves a second-place starting spot. However, at one magical point in time, an unlikely entry, and not a high favor to win, did just that! Tearing up the track, Beverly Joe Breece sped her way along the 2-mile oval, and she kicked the door open, securing a position that put her and her team ahead of some of the sports strongest trucks! What a memorable and exciting day it was when Beverly clenched her place and raced against some of the biggest names and well-seasoned teams to have ever run the event. It was a time where some went home empty-handed, some were victorious, others were defeated, and some set the stage for wonderful things to come. It was a day where legends were made…Now let's drop those window nets, climb inside, strap yourself in, and read about how one truck defied the odds, gave it her utmost best, and became forever known as the Ford that nearly did it all.Beverly Joe Breece…
