In my stories, we encounter the sorrows that often go unspoken. The stories pull back the curtain on the realities faced by women and girls in rural areas, where access to education, healthcare, and economic opportunities can be limited. They shed light on the unequal burdens women bear and the strength it takes to carry them. But within the pages of these tales, there is also hope. The book is not just about despair; it is about resilience. It showcases the wisdom passed down from mothers to daughters, the rituals that bind communities, and the courage to challenge the status quo.
This is the story of a dynasty founded by Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, a Max Weberian Charismatic leader but unfortunately not a statesman who established a one-party rule, which led to a rebellion and his predictable death. Mujib died of his self-inflicted wound called BAKSAL Dictatorship. Mujib is not frozen in time; his daughter, Sheikh Hasina (the "digital dictator"), and her Awami cadres (followers) continue Mujib's brutal BAKSAL tradition. On the parliament floor, Mujib boasted about his government's extrajudicial killing and exclaimed, "Sheraj Shikder, where are you now?" These and other remarks by Mujib show his problems with self-discipline. Pinaki Bhattacharya, a researcher on Bangladesh politics, says, "Mujib was a great trickster."
That Day You Ghosted Me: 10 Rules to Becoming an Effective Salesperson is the remarkable story of a very talented elementary teacher with a stable life who discovered that there was more for her outside of her comfort zone. She embarked on a journey where she was forced to learn about sales, customer service, objections, chasing giant goals, emotional intelligence, and life's passion. Within that learning process, she experienced the "ghosting zone," but was able to crack the code. There came a day when someone ghosted her, and that became part of her journey as she was able to achieve an extraordinary life full of surprises, challenges, candor, and an infinite ability to help others in ways she never imagined. All these adventures would have never been possible if she had not had the courage to pursue her intuitions and callings. This is the story of a regular lady who one day decided to become extraordinary, and hers is a life that anyone could emulate who decides to pursue their dreams.
Carolyn White grew up in the kitchen. As a little helper, she measured salt and spices and soaked up her mom's recipes and flavor-fueling a lifelong love of cooking and entertaining. Although she loves elaborate dishes and testing new ideas on parishioners at Greater Works Baptist Church, her favorites are those she cooks up while friends are gathered around. And she often creates recipes to help her busy friends serve "gourmet" meals without a fuss. Outside of the kitchen, Carolyn is a licensed chemical dependency counselor and anger management therapist at Austin Recovery, a drug and alcohol treatment center. She lives in Austin, Texas, with her husband, Michael, who is her greatest supporter and her most avid taste-tester.

RUMPALLA, RUMMAGING THROUGH ALBANIA is a newspaperman's book. In it Lucas not only writes about his experiences traveling throughout the then-closed, tightly -controlled Communist country in the late 1980s, but he tells the story through the eyes of a reporter. In 1986 he became the first Americana reporter to be allowed into the country in thirty years. Returning again and again, Lucas chronicled the changes the country went through as it broke away from the hard line Communism of Joseph Stalin to join the rest of the nations of Europe as a fledging democracy. In between, the writer found time to search for the site of a World War II American plane crash, find his father's abandoned village, trace the High Albania footsteps of early English traveler Edith Durham, and help Kosovar refugees during the 1999 NATO bombing of Serbia. In between, searching for the heart of Albania, he got to know and interview Albanian peasants and presidents.

Dive in to where a couple meet a crossroads of a modern world. Overcoming troubles that some face on a regular day to day basis. With just a little help they rewrite there life. The grammar I used is written this way on purpose. There are a couple, few run on sentences, maybe a fragment or two as well. Also there is one or two paragraph breaks. I used guidelines from an ancient idea, it is no secret. I brought the story up to the present. Added some extra time, if one can only count or follow a map. Using any current or modern grammar format would not have done it any justice. The Idea has been butchered enough.

My writing is to change the world and make it a better place. I can make a difference. Yes, I can.
This book is like a movie watching international scientists at a US hospital at The University of Chicago over the shoulder. It captures the excitement, achievements, up and downs as well as the friendship of the lab members working on different floors, in particular on the fifth floor. Some of the lab members we will encounter briefly, some to a more extent. We will follow them on campus and sometimes to beautiful downtown Chicago.

In Still to Fight On, Dr. Quentin White proposes a ministry model for African American veterans in VA hospitals. Inspired by his service in the military, veteran's hospital, and the African Methodist Episcopal Church, Dr. White offers a unique perspective on how to serve these veterans and by extension, all veterans in hospitals and religious settings. Using autobiographical, theological, biblical, historical, and practical resources, Dr. White suggests ways to break through the alienation, woundedness, suspicion, and mistrust of Black veterans toward the system, to deeper relationships with self, others and God. Still to Fight On is one veteran's way of helping chaplains, counselors, ministers, veterans' advocates, clinicians, and caregivers of Black veterans gain new insights on their work with Black veterans. In addition to veterans themselves, anyone who has a passion for the survival and wholeness of those who have worn their country's uniform and, in some cases, carry the scars of battle, should welcome this resource.
