For Loyalty and Royalty the homeless kittens: my first book was a boy called pie face. My father's story. This children's book is actually based on a true story. After I wrote it, while proofreading it I felt tears welling up in the back of my eyes. they were good tears. But I am a sensitive one. I hope you enjoy it with your kids. Until the next one, be happy. And thank you all.
This book is about my Summer. My 2022 Summer was amazing. The Summer that my brother, my cousins and friends got to play after staying home for two years because of COVID-19. My cousins from Scotland visited us in Cambridge, Ontario, and I had so much fun. We all had lots of fun. I am sure you will enjoy reading about the kind of things I did in Summer with my family, cousins, and friends. I have details in this book.
I answered an ad on Rightdoor, a neighborhood page; for a roommate for 6 months that turned into 11 months of Hell. I allowed two different women to move in with him, where both were useless to him and I finally had to tell him after #!GF showed up looking for money to buy drugs while pregnant at 3/am. I watched her on RIng peeping through the front window. #2GF comes along and she is just as bad if not worse than GF#!. He was being used by both and admits that he was and didn't know how to handle it or take my elderly advice about what I saw. It only got worse from there, multiple police calls, notice to vacate, anxiety attach and finally eviction. A story worth reading if you ever think about getting a roommate, think twice. I will never do it again!
Ever since I could remember, it's been me and my dad, and up until a couple months ago, you can say we've been . . . hiding out, far off, away from the rest of the world, living in secret. This life is the only life I know, and so, I live it to the fullest! Look, I know there's more to life than what I get to see but what am I supposed to do? This is the life my dad created for us, the life I was born into, ya know. I'm not complaining, it's just, I'm fourteen years old, I have no friends, and I have absolutely no idea why we've been living this way. All I know is that my dad is crazy! Wait, don't get me wrong he's a pretty cool dad and all, I mean, he really tries to understand. It's just, he's been 'training' me every day of my life, like, ever since the day I could walk. As a matter of fact, I'm pretty sure he coached me into walking earlier than I would have, given the chance at a normal childhood Lol. Yet the weird part is, if you asked me though, I have no regrets. I just couldn't tell you what I was training for. Dad just says it's important that I know this kind of stuff . . . Oh! And yeah, in case you were wondering, the idiot jumping through the window without any idea of how it he's going to land . ., is me. You're probably just as lost as I am right now. So let me save everyone a lot of confusion, and start from the beginning . . . well, sort of, well hm, let's start at the acts leading up to my fourteenth birthday. Trust me, you didn't miss much before then. Aight so boom, here we go. My name is Auraluke Rust, and this . . . this is the BrixCity Sagas."
Theodore Andrews III, had been indoctrinated into a life of crime. He didn't believe that there was any other feasible way to exist. He was raised in the life from birth and loved the life. As he matured he began to realize he had been living a lie. However he knew no other way to live. At least he trusted no other way to live. The death of the only woman he loved and a life sentence in prison set him on a transformational journey.
A fourteen-year-old gets accepted into a school for extreme athletes. Suddenly, his life goes from ordinary to extraordinary. He learns parkour and all the moves and risks of wingsuits and daredevil stunts. But controversy follows hot on his tail, attracting both positive and negative attention. One source of such attention is a corrupt businessman who tries to weasel his way out of a fair deal, and soon the two square off in an obstacle course of his creation.Miles Monahan's novel Shift to the Extreme is the first in an exciting series focused on young teens and the way they use their extreme-sports skills to change the world and save the day. With this page-turning story, Monahan seems to tell his young readers: Don't just wait for magic to happen-be active now, and maybe you too can do something incredible.
Have you ever wondered who your little ones are looking up to? Who they are, what they stand for, and so many other things? In today's world, our children are being influenced by many "idols" or "heroes" that are not necessarily the best role models for them. There are some really great influential people that are famous that are great role models for our children, but there are many that are not. Just because a person is not famous through the public eye, does not mean he or she can't be a good role model for our children. This children's book encourages children to look at heroes, or role models to look up to, all around them in everyday life. Firefighters that save lives from burning buildings, emergency room nurses that save lives from tragic accidents, next-door neighbors that deliver food when a young mother has just birthed her first born child, little girls setting up a lemonade stand on the street to sell Girl Scout cookies that go to a good cause, and so many more people that are in our everyday lives that go above and beyond their normal job or duties for the day to lend out a helping hand to make a difference in our lives are everyday heroes. So, this book encourages not only children to look up to the proper role models, but for parents to train up a child in the way, he or she should go, as the Bible teaches us to do. And, ultimately the hero that we should want to model after, and be more like every single day is the one who gave his life for us, Jesus.
