Safari is a Swahili word that means a journey that changes you. Only when Gayle totally surrendered to God the re-scheduling of her Covid interrupted African safari trip, did God respond by weaving a tapestry of people, places, animals and experiences that revealed His creation as He had planned it and the genuine people He has entrusted it to. From South Africa to Namibia, Zimbabwe, Tanzania and Kenya, this true month long story re-affirms God's active interaction with us if we will initiate a "Godversation". He loves to have a chat with us. With God in your Jeep, He will challenge you with assignments that make you eager to do more. He instructed Gayle to share this inspirational story. He wants His children to remember Him and to come back to Him! As God is my witness, this is all true! Gayle Bolton from Savannah, Georgia is a mother of 3 daughters and 5 grandchildren.
Darwin's thinking, along with that of Marx, Freud and Nietzsche, are the four pillars underpinning the secular humanist worldview that gave rise to the horrors of the 20th century. Fortunately, the other three schools of thought have now been largely abandoned. But Applied Darwinism still exists, although Mussolini, Hitler, Apartheid's Verwoerd, Marx, Stalin, Lenin, Mao and their minions everywhere, by their own admissions, were practitioners of applied Darwinism. Modern science has done so much to disprove this 19th century hypothesis still futilely in search of evidence. Furthermore, the most advanced philosophy of science proved that macroevolution is not possible, even in principle. The Science of Intelligent Design has proven more convincing to even some celebrated authors of evolutionary science textbooks, the "high priests of evolution." Sean M. While waiting in a very long checkout line after gathering groceries for my family; a prophet of God approached me and said, Daughter, why do you worry? He looked at me with very strong wise eyes. It was as if they were the eyes of God the Father looking into the depths of my soul. I immediately began to weep. He continued, it's time to walk in your purpose...write! Life often has a habit of changing our schedules, sweeping us onto busy lanes and weighing down our mind with issues. I have found that retreating to a calm place and seizing a few moments to relax can be very beneficial (Psalm 116:7 NCV). Within the borders of this book, you will find opportunities to relax, as you walk through some biblical word searches and possibly discover a few things along the way. I was motivated to complete this work while attending to my mom's bedside, Mrs. Lillie Sims, as she was in home hospice care. My mother always encouraged my creativity. The Lord enabled me to develop this work between her intervals of sleeping. My mom transitioned to be with the Lord January 25, 2022, and I dedicate this project to my mom, my wife, Ellen, and my family. Pastor Gregory M. Sims is a native Washingtonian married to the former Ellen R. Johnson and has had the privileged to serve as Shepherd of the New Canaan Baptist Church in NE, DC since 1989. He has facilitated workshops, revivals, seminars, and retreats throughout the DMV for over 46 years. He received his Bachelor of Arts in Biblical Studies from the Lancaster Bible College with honors, in May of 2013. He earned his Master of Arts in Leadership Studies from Capital Seminary, graduating Summa Cum Laude, May 2018. Blessed with four children, my wife and I have always incorporated games and creative activities in our home journey. I believe that a cheerful heart is good medicine (Proverbs 17) and enjoy opportunities to engage in creative activities to relax. I began creating word searches for attendees of seminars and then regularly for our church members at Christmas.
This Ten Book Series, Realm of the Fallen, chronicles the lives of the people and strangely tragic events surrounding an abandoned Carmelite Monastery, and the desert community of Stanton, Texas. This monastery is taken over by the Catholic Church to become a convent, orphanage, and school, but the new residents do not know that when the Carmelite Brotherhood of monks disbanded, they also left a dark secret behind them. When strange things begin to happen, Monsignor Breely sends a request for assistance, and it eventually comes to him in the form of a recently ordained priest, Father John Sholtz. As this young priest commences his new assignment at the convent, he experiences a most terrifying encounter with a ghostly monk, one with powers beyond the boundaries of his imagination, but this encounter is only the beginning of terrors, and as he faces his fears, learning that things are not always as they seem, he wonders if his mind and faith are strong enough to endure all that now lies ahead of him. Born at Webb Air Force Base in Big Spring, Texas, Joseph has written numerous poems, short stories, and songs. He likes to spend free time researching and visiting historic sites, and old abandoned places. A few hobbies include music, fishing, camping, vintage cars, and painting various scenes on canvas. He was inspired to write this ten-book series after discovering the unique and strangely tragic history of the actual Carmelite monastery. He likes going to church, inventing and tinkering, Italian and Chinese food, enjoys riding motorcycles and horses, taking road trips with the family, and Christmas is his favorite time of year. There is always another book in the works, he continues to live in Texas with his wife and their two youngest children. He manages a blog page where snippets other works can be viewed and commented on. JC Sparrow - Author - Fiction, Crime Drama, Suspense, Thriller, Horror (wordpress.com)

This book, although about my life, I hope you experience it as a narrative about the questions, challenges, and decisions we all make in life. Often, we're afraid to ask hard questions, fearing the start of a word war, ending in a communication catastrophe, or family collapse. Asking hard questions reduces being defined by an organization or someone who wants to limit or categorize you. When I don't ask hard questions of myself, my motives, or my actions, I typically settle for the minimum out of life instead of embracing all that life can deliver. Reading this book or using it in a group setting will open your mind to seeking greater connectedness and increased self-awareness. Asking hard questions can stimulate deeper thinking, help define purpose in life, and generate enthusiasm for living in new, more fulfilling ways. It's taken a lifetime to realize a lack of questions leads to ignorance, failure, and despair. I'm a grandfather, husband, and father who grew up as a mid-west farm boy, one of eight children, where stability and connectedness were cornerstones of our traditional family and community. I like leading small groups, preaching, speaking, and traveling. I'm a busy amateur photographer who takes long walks. I have a BSME and MDiv; both took ten years to achieve. I started a software development company in my thirties. Twenty-five years later, after my M.Div. I received a call to a Lutheran pastorate. I'm retired and live with my wife of 55 years in the cold north. We have two adult children, two grandchildren, and a dog. I have not arrived; I don't believe we ever reach perfection; humans are imperfect, but we're always striving for a taste of the life to come.
In Matthew Walton's second book, the story gets away from the sea. Questions surround Detective Jake Marcus's mind. What is happening to the people around him? Are they being abducted or are they just going missing? Is there something even deeper going on? What is happening at Two Rivers Park? The quiet times that this detective is used to will soon be disrupted. This is the one case that could define both his entire career and life! Matthew is still enjoying life. He loves to read, but he loves writing even more. He enjoys morning prayer and Bible study. Next to Jesus Christ, his family is his biggest blessing. His prayer for you the reader is that you will enjoy and be encouraged spiritually by his books. He plans to continue writing more books and he hopes that you are blessed by them.
This book is not a 5 step recovery plan for dealing with a mental illness or depression, but in my life I have struggled with these things. I still struggle, but it helps to know I have choices: I can choose to have a bad day or a good day by protecting my inner peace. I can choose to "hold it all in" or talk to trusted friends who can give counsel, a listening ear, or share a good laugh. Most of all, I can talk to God as a Friend and He is always there to help. Also, taking medications and being treated by doctors and psychiatrists who care is a good thing. Rebekah (Becky) R. Williams and her husband, Gary Williams resides in the small Michigan town of Watervliet, and have been married for more than thirty years. Together they have raised three daughters, two of which have autism. Becky attends Central Assembly of God Church (Revive Church) in Coloma, Michigan with Pastor Edward Richcreek and the congregation. Becky has known Jesus Christ as her personal Savior since 1978. When I think back over the years, there are a few statements I have known to be true: "It is a sign of good mental health when one can learn to laugh at oneself". And "It is the ones who can hold onto hope that truly get ahead in life". Other Books Written by Becky R. Is your god my god? Is it possible that we all love, pray to, and believe in merely one God? From my extensive experiences with Muslims, I have found them to be some of the kindest, most generous people I have ever met. I remember a day in Pakistan when a lady and I spoke for hours about religion. It was truly enlightening. At the end of our conversation, she stated, "I love your God like my God. We must love the same God!" I cried tears of joy and admiration. Another time, after teaching several women at a university in Yemen, the students came to my apartment before departing to give me flowers as a thank you for honestly talking to and helping each of them. They were all kind, giving, and as curious about my faith as I was about theirs. My question for a long time has been, "Is the Christian God the same as the Islamic god?" This was one reason for writing this book. Although there are several answers to this question, this book will lead you in a unique direction. While we know both religions share a great deal of common ground, there are also some differences in worldviews. Actually, Christianity and Islam are perhaps two of the most closely linked religions that ever existed. They are many times called "Abrahamic cousins." God, who is revealed in Christ, leads us to interact with Muslims in a way that echoes the first prayerful intercession in the Bible: the cry of our mutual father Abraham who pleaded, "O that Ishmael might live in your sight" (Gen. 17:18). May Muslims who interact with those of us who follow Jesus benefit from meeting us; may they gain a deeper understanding of the Father's heart of our great and loving Creator God. There is no other God than God. May this truth bring the world closer together in peace.

He has been led to two faith-based Bereavement Ministries, as he provides his experience in supporting others who are grieving and mourning. A Pearl of Great Price is a collection of stories of some great women of the Bible who accomplished and/or experienced some amazing things. Written along with their stories are pearls, precious words of great value, offering wisdom that will bring forth healing and deliverance to the reader of these divine truths. These "pearls" can serve as advice to those who may find themselves in similar situations or backed up in a similar corner. The preacher in the book of Ecclesiastes says, "What has been will be again," so we will do well to learn lessons and heed the advice of these female superheroes (she-roes). This is a story of a lifetime journey in learning about the world and how God loves us in all our varieties, cultures, and languages. In the early days that consisted of reading about countries and learning languages. With the passing of time, it included traveling to countries or working with and hosting people from other places. All of these experiences grew out of a relationship with the Lord of all nations and learning to see His plans and dreams for the world. The struggles include how to communicate with other peoples and to understand their obvious differences. The story touches on what I learned in all the years of my journey as well as the struggles. The ending points to the next step in the ongoing journey which is into the unknown. Lori Marsh is a lifelong learner in the ways and places of God. From an early age growing up in a small town in Ohio, she loved to read about countries around the world and the people who lived there. After meeting Jesus, she wondered how she could reach different people groups and nations for Jesus. She has been a world traveler throughout her life. This memoir grew out of experiences she shared with others about the people from nations, languages and cultures that she has worked with in various settings.
After much prayer and meditation, I felt led by God to write about my journey through life with Jesus Christ. Born in Cambridge, Massachusetts, I was one of eight children, seven girls, and one boy. I grew up in a Catholic home with Catholic priests attending our Sunday dinners. As part of a large family, I experienced love, sharing, caring, and teamwork and was never lonely. I became good friends with Jesus Christ when I was fourteen sitting in St. Mary's church. I gave my heart to Him. He took Bill and me on a unique journey. Bill and I were married in our early twenties and blessed with four children, six grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren. They are my pride and joy. This book is about an exciting and challenging life of a husband and wife who traveled with their friend Jesus Christ. Sometimes following His path took enduring faith and trust. He protected us through some strange and dangerous situations while living in Massachusetts. Before moving to Florida, Bill showed signs of Alzheimer's. This horrific disease was stealing his memory like a thief in the night. In Florida, Bill created a beautiful drawing of Jesus Christ as a gift for me. He experienced God, and God spoke to him. God told Bill He wanted him to give his drawing to people that God would put in our path. Bill called his drawing "God's Gift." God brought many spiritually loving people to us, and we gave them Bill's drawing. His drawing changed our lives and the lives of countless people. These are their stories; they are not coincidences but God's incidences. Sometimes when I asked God, "Why?" God told me He taught me lessons and made me strong in the valley. We obeyed God and followed His lead.
Through God's grace, we are extended a time to nurture and grow our relationship with Him as the cornerstone of our very existence-an existence in which our faith is challenged and increased to work in our favor. But what many of us fail to realize is that whatever He has been placing in our view, thoughts, and spirit is actually a calling upon our lives. But in order to cultivate and activate what God has placed within, we must take intentional action. In Intentional Living by Dr. Drema Thompson, Thompson shares a collection of original poetry and hand-picked pieces of scripture. This anthology of poetry is intended to inspire deep consideration for spiritual growth for any and all with a measure of faith. Through each poem, Thompson challenges readers to engage in mindful reflection to center oneself despite the everyday experiences of life and the continuum of emotions that occur. This collection of I AM writings is being shared to remind many and declare to others that there is a purpose to this life, even when it seems that this existence is too overwhelming. There is a means of escape from the struggles of this world that has been delivered to us by Christ, even when it appears as if there is no open door. To cultivate your purpose, you must focus on mindful concentrations to identify, explore, and experience works that are intended to speak to your spiritual growth in God. It is Thompson's prayer that a mustard seed treasure will be revealed through this Intentional Living collection for those who seek a glimpse of who they are in, can become with, and their value to Christ. Dr. Drema Thompson has over thirty years of experience assessing information to promote best practices in organizational business objectives and leader strategic decision making. Through these experiences, she has gained understanding that intentional actions are necessary to achieve preferred outcomes. Her journey toward expressing herself in writing was sparked after completing a rigorous academic doctoral program that led to an intentional focus on individual self-reflection and mindful Spiritualness. She and her husband reside in a southern town in Virginia and enjoy spending time with their grandchildren.
Anthony and Andrea: The Imperishable Time takes you on a journey that allows you to see the invisible hand of God, who is the Creator and the Lord of time, using time in trials and tribulations to remold man into His image. The author 's pastoral heart weaved every human emotion and experience into each page to help the reader self-reflect and consider the rhema of God leading them to a victorious life. In addition, the author's style fuses a wide range of disciplines combining the arts, science, psychology, and theology within the book to engage all readers. Therefore, get ready to learn, cry, laugh, cheer, and reflect on your life and on how much God loves you within the times of your life. Anthony Yard, M.Ed. Deborah: I cannot imagine anyone picking this book up and thinking, "Well, this novel is a short read. Let me tell you it's not. Get comfortable and enjoy the riveting exhilarating roller-coaster ride. You will not want to put it down or get off. Be prepared for a deep emotional and heartfelt read in every character you meet with deep insights and thoughts. I was very impressed with each page that I read. "The Imperishable Times" is a must A read!
Here are stories of strength, courage, joy, and hope. Stories that inform and gladden the heart. Uplifting. Sparks of Grace is a collection of essays and reflections on the word of God. Real, simple, true to life inspiring anecdotes. You will find some of my own personal anecdotes too inserted in many pages of this book. My life growing up, struggles and conflicts borne from my early years, experiences during my studies, my formation, and my ministry in the Church, including insights from some of my travels and pilgrimages. Some are a bit theatrical and comical; I admit. That's just my opinion. If they are and you agree, thanks! If not, I'll just go and run to my room! God's abundant grace is around us. Just waiting to be had if one is free of any impediment to receive it. If we are given the grace, imagine what that knowledge can do to us. Finding our own purpose in life. Deepening our love of God. Inexplicable joy. My hope is that we may begin to see all that in this first series of books about grace. God transforms us and the world with His grace. May the Holy Spirit enkindle in us the fire of God's love enabling us to do good and be of faithful service to His people. Amen. JUAN P. AQUINO, a Permanent Deacon of the Roman Catholic Church in the Diocese of San Jose, California was ordained in 2012. "A definite faith booster, the faith adventures of Evangelist Deta Miller would engender confidence and courage in every believer's heart." Rev. Sherma Bowe "This book though short and compact, delivers potent, motivational messages that would supercharge the individual's attitude toward their Christian life and the work of God in their life." Pastor James Bain How big would you dream if you knew that you could not fail? Moreover, would you ever draw back if you knew that victory was inevitable? With the use of ten personal faith-based testimonials the author celebrates and boasts of the faithfulness of God as He watches over His Word to perform it in every aspect of her life. Since He is no respecter of persons, He wants to also perform His Word in your life, marriage, finances, etc. After all, those who trust in Him will never be disappointed, confounded, or ashamed (Ps. 22:5). Evangelist Deta O. Miller is a missionary evangelist who in obedience to the plan of God for her life presently resides in Canada. She has been involved in missions and evangelism for over thirty years and has traveled both nationally and internationally preaching this great Gospel. During these years, she has come to know what it means to be refined in the furnace of affliction as her faith was stretched while in pursuit of the Master's will. Like Job, she was fully persuaded that God knew the way she took and that after the many tests, she too would come out as pure gold-and she did! Has it been easy? No, but the victory has always been and continues to be sweet.
