Praise and Thanksgiving are musts for the maturing believer. Praise and Thanksgiving are the exaltation of God: The Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. There are aspects of intercourse with God in which a man seeks to ask and receive from the Lord. These asking and receiving aspects of prayer are primarily man-centered. A man comes to the Lord with a need and asks and receives from the Lord. The Lord is glad to give, but man is the direct beneficiary. However, in Praise and Thanksgiving, a man forgets his needs and comes to the Lord, receives a revelation of the Person or a deed of the Lord, and then praises and thanks to the Lord for who He is or for what He has done. God is thus the object of the Ministry of Praise and Thanksgiving! God's heart is satisfied. His "need" of praise and thanksgiving is met. He is exalted and His heart satisfied. You are called to praise and thank the Lord unceasingly -- always, at all times and in every circumstance. There will be many events for which you will immediately cry out, "Praise the Lord!" because you see the immediate benefit to you from what has happened. Ensure that that cry is loud, firm and unceasing. There will be other events which, on immediate analysis, seem to be bad or very bad for you. Also cry out, "Praise the Lord!" even though you do not see any immediate benefit that can come out of them. Cry out, "Praise the Lord!" Ensure that the cry is loud, firm and unceasing. God has willed that you thus praise Him. Do. He will act and you will be amazed by the way He will transform apparent tragedies into great blessings. Glory be to the Lord!

The book, Knowing the God of Unparalleled Goodness by Professor Zacharias Tanee Fomum, was written at a turning point of our ministry at the beginning of the first missionary era. It deals with the greatness of God, and the need for the pilgrim to know Him and walk in intimacy with Him. In fact, many people do not know God. They are serving an unknown God. It centers on Abraham's life and pilgrimage with God, the author clearly shows that when the believer is discouraged; when he is about to fall or even to give up, God in his sovereignty brings him back to Him. He also shows that a successful Christian life consists of walking with God. That is to say, to remove the obstacle that has interposed itself between God and oneself, in order to abide in intimacy with God. This book, therefore, is an introduction to walking with God. It is a very delicate book that weighs in favour of the need to make progress in the inner life, especially in the seeking, finding, knowing, loving and enjoying God. It is therefore not only an incentive manual but also a challenge for believers at all levels. Many need this book to be healed in their relationship with God. Read this book. You will make progress in your spiritual life, and you will be blessed.

Last year l spent one month in one of the leading countries of the world. The country's population is said to be twenty-five percent Christians. Yes, the claim is that one out of every four people is born again. l was also told that the divorce rate was sky-rocketing. One minister even told me that the divorce rate among believers was just as high as the one among the unsaved. l was told that leading ministers of the gospel were divorcing their wives and marrying other women while continuing to have the blessings of God on their big ministries. This set me thinking! Were they using a Bible that was different from the one l was using? Were we in different religions? l began to think seriously on the subject. l read and re-read the Scriptures. You will find in the following pages the fruit of my study.

Tu peux te tourner vers Lui aujourd'hui, et Il te recevra et accomplira Son grand dessein pour toi. Il veut commencer dès maintenant. Laisse-Lui libre cours. Tu devrais Lui dire : "Seigneur, me voici. Tu as le champ libre. Seigneur permets que tout Ton dessein de me donner un avenir et une espérance s'accomplisse." Ensuite, détourne-toi de ton passé et repose-toi dans Son amour. Il ne te rejettera pas. Il te recevra et Il accomplira Son dessein glorieux pour toi.Amen.

Este libro nació de la oración. El Señor llamó a unos pocos de nosotros a orar. Cada noche batallamos en oración entre las 9:00 p.m. y las 3:00 a.m. Esto aconteció por muchas semanas. Llegamos a sentirnos bendecidos, retados y purificados, llegamos a ver al Señor de manera nueva y a entender el propósito de estar totalmente en una luz nueva. Este libro también fue nacido de una experiencia - una experiencia de obediencia. Algunos de los nuestros fueron conducidos a obedecer un mandato obvio del Señor, el cual está escrito claramente en la Biblia y que no habíamos obedecido aún. Esa obediencia estuvo cerca de costarnos la vida. Dios honró esa obediencia y condujo a los ministerios ahora asociados con el Centro de Literatura Cristiana de Yaundé. Esta incluye conformidad de Dios. La santificación es un aspecto de la Santidad. Nuestra oración es que el Señor use este libro para trabajar en la santificación de muchas vidas y que muchos logren alcanzar "la santidad, sin la cual nadie verá al Señor"

Este libro, "El Camino de la Vida", siendo el primer libro de la serie, tiene como tema El camino hacia la vida cristiana - El camino hacia Jesucristo - El Camino hacia Dios - El Camino hacia la Vida. Fue escrito especialmente para ayudarle a tener un encuentro con el Señor Jesús, y entregarse a Él, solo entonces realmente comenzará a vivir. A medida que avance en la lectura que hoy inicia esfuércese para llegar hasta al final de cada capítulo y así poder responder todas las preguntas. Nuestra oración es que al finalizar su lectura tenga una relación viva con Jesús y entonces pueda decir: Jesús es mi Salvador. ¡Que Dios le bendiga abundantemente!

The training of church leaders has been one of my main areas of contribution to church growth in the church in Yaounde. Burdened with the need for competent pastors for the growing number of House Churches in the city of Yaounde, I gave these lessons on leading a House Church to about 800 leaders in training. The course took place on two weekends. The lessons of the first and second weekends are here presented, as much as possible, as they were spoken that weekend, having been compiled from notes taken during the course and completed from the taped messages. They are written just as they were spoken, with very limited editing by the author. We send them out with a heart cry that they contribute to produce the type of leaders that are needed for the Lord's flock on the eve of His imminent return.

Le livre, "Connaître le Dieu de Bonté Sans Pareille" par le professeur Zacharias Tanee Fomum, fut écrit à un point tournant de notre ministère, au début de l'ère missionnaire. Il traite de la grandeur de Dieu, et de la nécessité pour le pèlerin de Le connaître et de marcher dans l'intimité avec Lui. En effet, beaucoup de gens ne connaissent pas Dieu. Ils servent un Dieu inconnu. Se basant sur la vie et le pèlerinage de Abraham avec Dieu, l'auteur montre clairement que lorsque le croyant est découragé, lorsqu'il est sur le point de tomber ou même d'abandonner, Dieu de façon souveraine le ramène à Lui. Il montre par ailleurs que la vie chrétienne réussie consiste à marcher avec Dieu. C'est-à-dire ôter l'obstacle qui s'est interposé entre Dieu et soi, afin de demeurer dans l'intimité avec Dieu. Ce livre est donc une introduction à la marche avec Dieu. C'est un livre très tendre qui milite en faveur de la nécessité de faire du progrès dans la vie intérieure, notamment dans le fait de chercher, de trouver, de connaître, d'aimer et de jouir de Dieu. Il est donc non seulement un manuel d'encouragement, mais également un défi pour les croyants de tous les niveaux. Beaucoup ont besoin de ce livre pour être guéris dans leur relation avec Dieu. Lis ce livre. Tu feras du progrès dans ta vie spirituelle, et tu seras béni.

Der Herr hat einen wunderbaren Plan für dich. Er hat große Dinge beschlossen für dich. Unabhängig davon, was du warst und was du als Ungläubiger getan hast; unabhängig von den Sünden, die du seit deiner Bekehrung begangen hast; unabhängig von deinem Versagen und deiner Untreue in der Vergangenheit; unabhängig davon, dass du ihn in der Vergangenheit verleugnet hast; unabhängig von deiner Entmutigung in seinem Dienst; unabhängig von deiner Abkehr in der Vergangenheit; unabhängig von deiner geistigen Unfruchtbarkeit; unabhängig von dem, was Er gegen dich ausgesprochen hat ..., kannst du immer noch aufstehen und in seine Fülle eintreten, denn keine Niederlage der Vergangenheit oder der Gegenwart muss endgültig sein. Du kannst dich Ihm heute zuwenden und Er wird dich empfangen und Sein großes Ziel für dich umsetzen. Er will jetzt beginnen. Gewähre es Ihm. Du sollst zu Ihm sagen: „Herr, hier bin ich. Setze dich durch. Herr, ermögliche, dass deine vollen Absichten, mir eine Zukunft und eine Hoffnung zu geben, in Erfüllung gehen." Dann wende dich von deiner Vergangenheit ab und ruhe in Seiner Liebe. Er wird dich nicht zurückweisen. Er wird dich empfangen und Er wird Seine glorreichen Absichten für dich erfolgreich umsetzen. Amen.

Plusieurs pensent qu'une fois que quelqu'un est sauvé, Dieu lui pardonne et efface toutes les conséquences de ses péchés passés, et qu'il est libre, que sa liberté est si totale qu'il n'a aucune responsabilité pour ce qui est d'en finir comme il faut avec le passé, et d'entreprendre la restitution auprès de ceux qu'il a offensés dans le passé. Ce livre examine clairement cette manière de penser, à la lumière des Ecritures, et établit le modèle biblique pour ceux qui ont vaincu et pour ceux qui veulent vaincre. Si tu ne veux pas réexaminer ta vie à la lumière de la Parole de Dieu, nous te recommandons d'oublier complètement ce livre, et de ne pas te déranger à le lire du tout, car si tu le lis, tu pourrais te rendre compte qu'il te faut entreprendre une restitution révolutionnaire qui t'amènera à la crête de la vague du mouvement du Saint-Esprit. Si tu es un vainqueur ou si tu désires devenir un vainqueur, ce livre est pour toi. Que le Seigneur te bénisse pendant que tu le lis. Nous publions ce livre en priant que les vainqueurs, en le lisant, deviennent plus conformes à leur Seigneur qui revient bientôt.

Many believers have backslidden. Some have turned away completely while others have turned away only in small degrees. Many will honestly say, "I have lost that love which I first had for the Lord." Many are prepared to say that, but they are not willing to take radical steps to put things right. They see the need to repent; they desire to repent, but they do not repent, for they do not pay the price of repentance.We believe, however, that there are some who truly hunger for the Lord and desperately want to come out of their backsliding and walk in close proximity with Him. It is for such people that this book has been written.We pray that the Lord should cause this book to fall into the hands of those who need it and that He should revive such ones and bring them into His glory.

This book was born out of prayer. The Lord called a few of us aside to pray. Each night, we wrestled in prayer between the hours of 9:00 p.m. and 3:00 a.m. This went on for many weeks. We came to find ourselves blessed, challenged, and purified. We came to see the Lord in a new way and to understand the purpose of our being in a totally new light. This book was also born out of an experience - an experience of obedience. Some of us were led to obey an obvious command of the Lord, which is clearly written in the Bible and which we had not yet obeyed. That obedience nearly cost us our lives. God honoured that obedience and caused it to lead to the ministries now associated with Christian Literature Centre, Yaounde. It also led to the birth of some assemblies which have, by God's grace, grown into praying communities. The truths charted in this book are coloured by what that local assembly has learnt as it tried, step by step, to follow the praying Lord in the School of Prayer. We have a commitment to prayer, fasting, and evangelism. We are learning and we are growing. Pray for us. Pray with us. We have come to discover that all things are possible to the praying saint and to the praying body of believers. By God's grace, we are determined to wipe out the word "impossible" from the life experience of the members of the assembly. Our hearts' desire is that all those who know the Lord Jesus will truly become people of prayer. So we send this book out with prayer that it will help some individuals and some local assemblies to make progress with the Lord in the "School of Prayer". To the Lord Jesus, the praying, supplicating and interceding Head of the Church be untold honour, glory, and majesty forever and ever.

Regardless of what you were and what you did as an unbeliever; regardless of the sins you have committed since you believed; regardless of your failure and unfaithfulness of the past; regardless of your having denied Him in the past; regardless of your discouragement in His service; regardless of your backsliding in the past, regardless of your spiritual barrenness; regardless of His proclamation against you... you can still rise and enter in His fullness, for no failure in the past or present needs to be final. You can turn to Him today and He will receive you and work out His great purpose for you. He wants to begin right now. Let Him have His way. You should say to Him, "Lord, here I am. Have your way. Lord, grant that Your total purpose to give me a future and a hope will come to pass." Then, turn from your past and rest in His love. He will not throw you away. He will receive you and He will work out His glorious purpose for you.
