Elli was afraid of having to leave the Manor House where she had been so happy, but life had to go on. Her husband had been killed in the war. She now had Paul who was kind, and made her happy. They had five children to look after between them. Life could be exciting and fun, but some changes had to happen. Moving house was a challenge but also interesting.
