Amuse Yourself: A Compilation of Poetry Inspired by My Struggles and Quest for a Beautiful Life My poetry compilation was born when I realized that my whole life I've played small, in order to please others. I was taught from an early age not to trust my own decisions and that my dreams could never become a reality. This instilled so many fears in me. I've come to question that perhaps I am afraid of my own greatness; perhaps I am afraid of how much I really do know... when you come from a place of fear, you live inside a box. When you can finally lift that lid, even if it's just by a vibration or a feeling of knowing what is possible for you in your life and what is out there that could occur... maybe then, you can have it. If you can just hold that vibration long enough, perhaps the universe will attract these things into your life and you can be more open to the possibilities, and live a life of joy, of beauty. Perhaps it is just about this feeling... this vibration. Amuse yourself. Jen
