A thirteen-year-old middle school student suddenly died while playing basketball--the results of a rare heart condition. What happened afterward was totally unexpected. The impact of his life and death led many youths into positive change of their lives. Several awards and events were created to continue the young man's memory and legacy. The hearts he touched and the people he inspired continues as his legacy is carried on from year to year.
