When his Aunt Daphne sends him back to his hometown to visit his estranged mother on her deathbed, Lewis had no idea what to expect. How was he supposed to feel? He has gone all this time, knowing next to nothing of his past, and now he is headed to unfamiliar territory, alone. Being brought up practicing pagan rituals, Lewis already knew he was a little bit different, and wasn't looking forward to explaining himself over and over.
