This series of selected scores are from our beloved classical concert program «Singing Strings» YANG Jing Music for Pipa with String Quartet. Stringed instruments form the backbone of the Western classical symphony orchestra. The Eastern string instrument Pipa has developed into a leading solo instrument as early as the Tang dynasty (618 - 709) in the East. In this set of classical concert programs, all pieces maintain the original and natural acoustic sound source of unplugged string instruments. It enables the encounter of different acoustic properties, different expressions of sound, and sound aesthetics that have developed over time in different regions. This Program lets old & new string instruments offer us an unforgettable musical experience _ from the fresh energy of the morning to the poetry of the sunset - from a silk bamboo tea house to a passionate dance in the desert of the Wild West - from the search for one's own identity to the singing of swinging hearts - from pearls falling on to a jade plate to the gallop of black horses... An electroacoustic, olfactory, and textual project by artist Florian Hecker.Florian Hecker is an artist whose work is realized through the technical manipulation of sensory data. By utilizing machinic scales and registers, Hecker creates environments marked at once by overwhelming complexity and vexing subtlety, where audience members are led to dwell on the outer limits of their own perceptual capacities.Resynthesizers took place in Laurel Canyon, Los Angeles, in the Fitzpatrick-Leland House, a tri-level residence designed by Rudolf Schindler and built in 1936. Centered around a trio of compositions produced using a novel algorithm for texture synthesis, the exhibition also featured three olfactory accords selected by Marc vom Ende and Philip Kraft of Symrise, and three electrophoretic displays transmitting a libretto by Robin Mackay.The molecular construction of sensory experience enabled by the technical manipulation and synthesis of materials emerges as a central theme of Resynthesizers. The regime of these ‘immaterials’ disjoins sensation from inherited conceptual models, and in the encounter with its resyntheses we are challenged to reintegrate sense and formulate new concepts.Designed by NORM, Zurich, this meticulously assembled document features exhibition documentation by Fredrik Nilsen Studio and data visualizations by Axel Roebel alongside essays by Wendy Hui Kyong Chun and Alex H. In short, SARS-COV is the virus that causes the coronavirus responsible for the ongoing pandemic that began in 2020, killing thousands of people around the world. Due to this pandemic, educational institutions were closed, and the entire dynamics of classes had to be adapted from in-person teaching to remote teaching, as a result, it is believed that the quality of teaching was compromised. The objective of this study was to verify the performance of students of higher education courses in the chemistry area of the Federal University of Maranhão - UFMA, besides analyzing the perspectives of remote education in the same institution. The methodology used was the data collection extracted from Google Forms available on Google Drive, containing multiple choice questions aimed at remote/hybrid teaching of chemistry, applied to students of the courses of Chemistry Degree, Chemistry Bachelor's Degree, Chemical Engineering and Industrial Chemistry of UFMA. According to the results, 70.20% of the students said that the educational institution made internet available in the pandemic, and many students stressed dissatisfaction with the institution's products.
