Gynecological oncology surgery has shown substantial progress in recent years. On the other hand it is essential to know what his or her colleagues, specialised in gynecological oncology can offer in oncology centres.

Although successful in most cases, eNS preventive therapy remains ineffective for a small but significant subset of patients at high risk for developing eNS disease. Moreover, it has become increasingly evident that some methods of eNS preventive therapy are associated with long-term, adverse eNS sequelae.

The major objectives of this book were to present the most recent advances in our understanding of how tumor cells metastasize to secondary sites by the leading experts in the biology of tumor invasion and metastasis.

The field of pediatric oncology encompasses four groups of malignancies - acute leukemias, brain tumors, lymphomas and solid tumors. The highly lethal nature of many of these tumors, the occurrence of some of them at several different primary sites and the rarity of these tumors have made systematic study of them difficult.
